Quote Devil-or-Angel: OK here is my theory on how JohnMcB & Sam could be both related and not.

What we know -
John had a sister who died when they where both young and he believes that Sonny was somehow responsible for her death.

Alexis had a baby at age 16 and was forced to give up by her father (Mikkos). When she investigated it (25 years) later she learned that the daughter she had given birth to had died in a car accident when she was young. But it turned out death was set up by some one in hopes that if Alexis ever searched she would think her daughter was dead.

What if both of those are true, and what if that girl/young woman was Sam?
What if the family who originally adopted Sam was the McBain's? And what if Mikkos or Helena decided that they couldn't ever let Alexis find her so they faked her death to make trail a 'dead end' but in reality gave or sold Sam to another family, the McCalls?
That would would explain why they seem to know each other (because they grew up together for 5-6 years) but don't recognize each other any more because they haven't seen each other in 20-25 years?

This fits in with previous spoilers that said (and this isn't an exact quote) but in essence it said JaSam would basically try to move on and reconnect but it doesn't mean the baby's paternity isn't still an issue. Or something like that, I'll have to see if I can find it again. I think it was one of HNY's drops.

Sam is alone at the beginning of her labor. Think Carly/Claudia

I think a lot of people are thinking that Heather will deliver the baby and steal it. And I think that's very likely. But if she's there when the baby is born, Super McBain could figure this out in a heart beat. Sam delivers, Heather, with her history of baby stealing, is there, the baby is gone. Mac coyld solve this case. Geez. I think McBain delivers. Sam and Jason are still at odds. They get to the hospital. THe Baby disappears. Heather doesn't appear to be involved at all. Otherwise, its over in a couple of episodes. Everyone knows about Heather and babies.

John is "tied up" elsewhere

I said a few weeks ago the babies were cast and was told it is too early
The sex of the babies cast is irrelevant to the screen version

Does the development/maturity of the baby eliminate the possibilty that it's Francos' child?
Sometimes. I think if the baby is fully developed and not a preemie.

The baby is full term. Both are.


Can you tell us if John delivers Tea's baby? I recall on OLTL that he assisted her with false labor.

John is helping no one, not even himself

So who is next to find out the baby isnt Jasons? and when?

Carly, Sam tells her next week.

Then the Qs find out Franco was Jason's brother (not the baby) via Heather.
