    BIOGRAPHY

    Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma John is best known for his portrayal as Edward Quartermaine on General Hospital. Graduating from Verdugo Hills High School in Tujunga, Los Angeles, he taught acting at Beverly Hills High School where his pupils included Nicolas Cage.

    In 2003, he was dropped to a recurring role status and that gave him new opportunities to explore other offers and roles. He was on Days of Our Lives as Mickey Horton and was also featured on HBO's "Big Love." He returned to General Hospital in 2006, where has continued to play Edward.
