    BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Ohio, Tyler Christopher is the youngest of four children. Following graduation from high school, he attended Ohio Wesleyan University for two years before heading to California in hopes of pursuing a career in acting!

Although his initial effort proved to be a false start, he returned to Hollywood in 1995 and set his sights in earnest, doing the requisite rounds of auditions. His hard work and perseverance paid off, as he landed the part of Laura Spencer's son on ABC Daytime's longest-running drama.

Tyler Christopher returned to the role of the noble and complex Nikolas Cassadine in April of 2003, a role he originated in the summer of 1996. Although named one of TV Guide's Hottest Daytime Stars in 1998, it is Tyler's unique sensibility and maturity that makes his portrayal of the strong yet sensitive Nikolas Cassadine so successful. He was nominated for an Emmy in 1999 and again in 2005 for his portrayal.

Divorced from Eva Longoria in 2005, Tyler currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
