From Port Charles to Bay City.
Soaps.com readers will soon be seeing double the Duell as "General Hospital's" Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) will be appearing in Bay City along with Port Charles. Duell has been cast in season 3 of "The Bay" as Adam Kenway, a mysterious man who causes big problems for Pete Garrett (Kristos Andrews) and Sara Garrett (Mary Beth Evans, Kayla Brady on "Days of our Lives"). Series creator and executive producer Gregori J. Martin said about Duell's performance that, "He did a stellar job in bringing the character of Adam to life." Chad Duell won a Daytime Emmy in 2015 for Outstanding Supporting Actor on a daytime series.
"The Bay," which won a Daytime Emmy in 2016 for Outstanding Digital Drama, follows the affluent and dysfunctional residents of Bay City. The town was cursed by Red Garrett, an ominous senator who was murdered by his socialite granddaughter, Sara Garrett (Evans). Living in his shadow, Sara and her youngest son Pete (Andrews) face a series of dilemmas involving rape, blackmail, sordid lovers, and vindictive arch rivals. Their lives are riddled with sex, lies, and scandals; and the town’s privileged tangle with those who confuse obsession for love, vengeance for justice, and power for success. "The Bay" cast features many daytime actors, including Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio on "GH" and Colin Atkinson on "The Young and the Restless"), Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie Spencer on "GH"), Martha Madison (Belle Black on "Days of our Lives"), Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux on "Days"), Thomas Calabro (Michael Mancini on "Melrose Place"), Jade Harlow (Jessica Bennett on "Passions" and Sheryl Connors on "Days"), Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful"), and Tonja Walker (Alex Olanov on "One Life to Live" and Olivia St. John on "GH").
