As Soaps.com reported back on October 17, 2016, "General Hospital's" Kelly Thiebaud (Port Charles' Britt Westbourne) has been cast in Hallmark's "A Worthwhile Life," which has just begun shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah. The actress took to Twitter to announce that she was off to shoot the movie, and that it would air sometime in February of 2017.

The film stars Adrian Grenier ("Entourage") and Amy Smart ("Justified"), a pair of strangers who cross paths on the subway in New York City. Mary Landers (Smart) is a young woman who finds herself dumped by her fiancé, who tells her he is looking for someone more adventurous. Fresh from the break-up, on her train ride home, she trades glances with James Fielding (Grenier), who accidentally leaves his cell phone behind. Mary then embarks on a colorful journey to track down James, and finds herself on a journey of self-discovery.

Kelly Thiebaud left General Hospital in 2014 to pursue other projects. She is engaged to her former co-star Bryan Craig, who announced his departure from General Hospital for the same reasons.

It's unknown what Thiebaud's role in the film is at this time. Soaps.com will keep you updated as more information, including an airdate, is made available.
