Ex-"General Hospital" star Minae Noji (Port Charles' ex-Dr. Kelly Lee, ex-Susan, "B&B") stars in the new movie version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." The movie will be released on August 8. It is based on the popular comic book and cartoon show of the same name and is produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Platinum Dunes.
In the film Noji plays the role of Karai, who is the second in command to the movie's villain Shredder (Tohoru Masamune). She also happens to be Shredder's daughter. Shredder is the head of the evil Foot Clan and has taken over New York City. It is up to four mutant turtle brothers, trained as ninjas by their adopted father a rat, to take down Shredder and the Foot Clan. They are aided by the fearless reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox, "Transformers") and her cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett, "SNL"). The movie also stars Whoopi Goldberg ("The View") and features the voice talents of Alan Ritchson ("The Hunger Games: Catching Fire") and Tony Shalhoub ("Monk").
