The secret is out!

Emma Samms, who played the role of Holly Sutton-Scorpio is returning to "GH."

At a "General Hospital" Fan Club event that Emma attended Saturday, a fan asked her why she was there and Samms said she's returning to the show. No storyline was divulged but executive producer, Frank Valentini who was at the event tweeted a confirmation of this on Twitter Sunday morning.

When we last saw Holly she was trying to protect her son, Ethan Lovett from being killed by Helena Cassadine after it was revealed that Luke was his father. Anna Devanne spoke of Holly in January and stated that she was looking after Robert while he was in a coma after being injected with a drug by Dr. Obrecht upon his discovery of Robin being alive.

Since leaving GH in 2012, Samms has played in the Syfy TV movie, "Boogeyman," and recently finished shooting the role of Sandra Vickers in the upcoming film, "Vendetta," in the UK.

No details have been given regarding when Samms will make her on screen return. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge. What could Holly be coming back to Port Charles for? Could it be related to Luke or Dr. Obrecht? Both? Tell us what you think. Feel free to leave us a comment regarding Emma Samms' return.
