Mean girls. (ABC)

Sparking. (ABC)

"GH" Rundown for the week of July 1-5:

Delicious deception and following your passion were the driving forces for the citizens of Port Charles this week, with just about everyone trying their hand at one, the other, or both. Despite the short week there was still plenty of fireworks thanks to Kiki’s 50 shades in the boathouse and Lucy's revival of cosmetics company and spa Deception.

Baby love.
Lulu’s joy over having a little girl was so infectious it was great to see Olivia, Sonny and Luke - all people in need of a pick-me-up - revel in the moment as well.

Danny’s donor.
Nothing ramps up family tensions and inspires new loyalties like saving the life of a family member. If Franco is a match, it poses another opportunity for redemption. For Kiki, it's another way to make her shine in Michael’s eyes. Of course, with all of the Qs out there the possibilities are endless. Who do you think will be a match for Danny? Vote below.

Kinky with Kiki.
Michael really tells AJ everything, including all the dirty details about lusting after his cousin. Hey, there's no judgement there. We loved the conversation between these two about the semantics of what being topless meant. AJ: "What exactly does that mean?" Michael: "What do you think that means? She wasn’t wearing a shirt." AJ: "No bra?" Michael: "No." Adding humor to it all is his constant denial about his closeness to Kiki to anyone who even crosses his path. Too bad no one is buying it. Meanwhile, Morgan stepped it up getting all kinky in the boathouse, which really only gave Kiki free reign to fantasize about Michael while leaving the viewer in anticipation for him to walk in on her tied up. We were not disappointed - cousins or not, these two are super hot. Watching Michael alone under the fireworks brought back memories of his first kiss with Starr last year at the same spot.

Alexis has some serious issues, forcing Shawn to quit Sonny while she kept him on as a client. Agreeing to both stop working for Sonny would have been the mature thing to do and we are glad Shawn called her out on it, even if he went along with her way anyway. Alexis pushes for the upper hand in every relationship and actually seemed shocked when he defied her.

Tracy and Luke.
Oh Spanky, suffering so long for Luke. There aren’t many people who will drop their fight for the family company, grab a suitcase full of cash and hop on a plane to track down a terrorist yet this Bonnie would do that and more for her Clyde - even lying to the ones who love him as much as she does at his request. Tracy seemed truly torn putting Lulu and Laura off, not like that will stop this determined duo to stop digging until they find the truth. But after all is said and done, Tracy should be Luke's end game. She deserves it.

Liz’s choice.
I was on the fence about Liz taking AJ back until he giddily called Monica to let her know the good news. He's a momma’s boy to the hilt and his failure to cut the cord should prove for some pretty funny scenes in the future.

Delicious duos.
Love, love, love Ava Jerome. She and Franco never fail to put a smile on my face, from their goo-goo baby talk to constant makeout sessions in front of Kiki and Carly, their behavior elicits some great faces from the actors around them, even the usually meh Morgan. Ava is just pure evil, much needed to get the pressure off bed-rested Britt. Although she is certainly holding her own, bringing some serious humor to her craziness. In fact, Britt and her new bestie Taylor are bringing their own brand of evil craziness to the area. We don't mind. And now that Britt has met Nikolas, yet another delicious duo seems to be in the offing.

Sonny stands strong.
Not that I really believed Sonny would actually off Carly, the mother of his children, for accidentally causing the death of Olivia, it was important that these two cleared the air about this whole mess. In fact Sonny was all about clearing the air this week, finally giving Milo the business for letting Lulu camp out with him while Dante was losing his mind. Plus, his harping on Milo was just the motivation he needed to follow his own passion thanks to Lucy Coe, who has been the gift that keeps on giving. Sonny did manage to make things more complicated by planting that kiss on Olivia.

Milo’s calling and his earsdropping.
Milo’s first order of business at the new Deception spa should be hiring Shawn for sure. We would not mind the double dose of ab perfection, and Shawn could use a new job. Problem solved. It was a little surprising that Felix turned down the head nursing gig Lucy presented him considering his love for fashion. His insistence that being a nurse at GH was his passion was a bit surprising, but revealed more about who he is. In the meantime, maybe he could take another whack at Sabrina. While her makeover is much improved on her previous look, this is really too "done" for someone so fresh-faced. Her hair was venturing into Amy Winehouse territory at that picnic in the park. But even that couldn't take away from Britt's accidental incineration of Emma's doll on the grill, which was laugh-out-loud entertainment. Britt and slapstick actually works.
