Robert returns to "General Hospital" this week, reuniting with, among other people, his brother Mac. While the two are close now, that wasn't always the case.
Mac, who had done some shady things in his past, arrived in Port Charles in 1991 and immediately butted heads with Robert, who was the Police Commissioner at the time. When Robert started receiving death threats, all eyes looked to Mac. Then, Robert was almost killed when someone threw an explosive into his office. Robert ended up in critical condition and Mac was blamed.
The two hashed out their differences when they were both lured to a farm in upstate New York. Robert was once again placed in danger when he was shot. Mac donated blood to save his brother's life and made Robert realize the past didn’t play out the way he thought it had.
