ABC has announced that it will be picking up the series "Nashville" starring "GH" alum Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky). The series will also feature fellow soap alum Hayden Panettiere (ex-Lizzie, "GL"). Look for it to join the Primetime schedule for the 2012-2013 season. It will begin production in Nashville soon.

Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky) will soon be seen on the small screen again. According to Deadline, he has been cast in the pilot "Nashville," written by Callie Khouri ("Thelma & Louise").

The ABC pilot is about the rising and fading stars on the Nashville music scene. Jackson will play a bad boy musician and aspiring songwriter.
