  • Brytni Sarpy Returns to General Hospital, Back Taping Scenes image

    Updated July 12: During an online Q&A chat, a fan asked if Brytni Sarpy would be returning to General Hospital. reports that her character, Valerie Spencer, will be back in Port Charles once again. The actress replied, "Yes... Val will be back periodically, I start shooting again in a few weeks." Stay tuned for her return date.

    On February 2, 2018: has learned that Brytni Sarpy is back in the ABC studios taping "General Hospital" scenes. Look for Valerie Spencer to return to the canvas sometime this month, as reported by Soap Digest. On January 2, 2017 Brytni Sarpy, who's played Valerie Spencer since 2014, has been moved to recurring status on "General Hospital" in order for the actress to work on other projects.

  • Eden McCoy Put on Contract at General Hospital image

    Eden McCoy has been put on contract at General Hospital. McCoy took over the role of Josslyn Jacks on GH back in October of 2015, as reported by The part was previously played by Hannah Nordberg, but the show decided to age the character. McCoy has been recurring since. News of her contract status was reported by Soap Opera Digest.

  • George Hamilton Appears on GH As KFC's Colonel Sanders image viewers may have noticed hilarious tweets about General Hospital coming from KFC's official Twitter account this week. It's now been confirmed by TV Line that George Hamilton will appear on GH on July 6 as Colonel Sanders. July 6 is National Fried Chicken Day, and Hamilton currently plays KFC founder Colonel Sanders in their commercials. Hamilton is known for his roles on American Housewife, the original Dynasty, and the comedies Zorro: The Gay Blade and Love at First Bite.

  • Cade McWatt Joins GH As Recast Cameron Spencer image has learned that Cade McWatt has joined General Hospital, taking over the role of Liz Webber's (Rebecca Herbst) oldest son Cameron "Cam" Spencer. The part was previously played by Michael Leone from 2004 until 2018. Leone's last appearance was at Liz and Franco's failed wedding in March.

    Herbert Russell booked an unnamed role on General Hospital.

    Pressly Coker appeared on GH as Steven Blake in scenes with Franco beginning on May 7.

    Matthew Jain played a paramedic on General Hospital on April 17.

    Rafaella Biscayn played the Swiss assistant on GH on April 19. She played a reporter on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2016.

    Hugh B. Holub played the Swiss bank manager Herr Bruhl on April 20 and 23 on General Hospital. He previously played Hayes on Days of our Lives in 2012.

    Rachelle Goulding played model Rylie on GH in scenes with Maxie, Nina, Peter and Valentin on April 23.

  • Dominic Zamprogna Confirms General Hospital Exit image

    Dominic Zamprogna confirmed on Twitter that he has taped his final scenes at General Hospital as Detective Dante Falconeri. The actor did not reveal why he was leaving, and only stated, "I feel I owe it to you awesome fans to tell you that I’ve taped my final scenes. Going to miss you all and my GH fam. Good things happening tho. More to come.." will keep you informed as Zamprogna's final airdate becomes available, and whether the character of Dante will be recast.

  • GH Casts Patricia Bethune of 'True Blood' As Nurse Mary Pat image has learned that actress Patricia Bethune was cast as Nurse Mary Pat on General Hospital. Bethune is known for her roles of Jane Bodehouse on True Blood and Nurse Ginger on Grey's Anatomy, and has appeared on television series such as How To Get Away With Murder, Longmire, and For the People.

    Bethune began airing on GH on Wednesday June 13 and will appear in scenes with Carly (Laura Wright).

  • Drew Cheetwood Returns to General Hospital As Milo image has learned that Drew Cheetwood is returning to General Hospital as Milo Giambetti. The actor posted a photo of a script on Instagram stories which he begins taping at least two episodes on June 8. Drew Cheetwood was last on GH in September of 2017. In March his brother Derk Cheetwood returned to GH as Max Giambetti and has been seen sporadically. Recently Drew Cheetwood welcomed a third child with his wife.

  • Elizabeth Hendrickson's GH Character and Air Date Revealed image

    Updated May 25: has learned that Elizabeth Hendrickson will play the role of Margaux, the lawyer who is prosecuting Carly's case. Look for her to first appear next week on Monday May 29.

    On May 3 we reported that Young and the Restless alum Elizabeth Hendrickson has landed a new role on General Hospital. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that the actress will begin taping scenes this week and will first appear in June. No other details are available at this time. At the 45th Daytime Emmys, Elizabeth Hendrickson was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress and has played Chloe Mitchell on Y&R since 2008, as well as Maggie Stone on All My Children.

  • Molly Burnett in at GH, Temporarily Fills in for Kirsten Storms image has learned that former Days of our Lives actress Molly Burnett will once again fill in for Kirsten Storms as Maxie on General Hospital, as reported by Soap Digest. News comes following Kirsten Storms announcing her new contract at GH and tweeting that she had to take some time off due to the flu. Molly Burnett appeared as Maxie on GH back in July 2016. Look for Burnett to appear in Storms’ role on June 1 and 4.
