Biography

After spending a short time studying at George Washington University, Roger decided to pursue acting and enrolled in the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center. While enrolled, he performed at prestigious regional theaters then went on to Broadway. The actor has experience in television series and Daytime television and portrayed well-known Llanview villain Todd Manning on "One Life to Live," for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award. Roger went on to take over the role of Paul Ryan on "As The World Turns" in 2003 until the show's cancellation in 2010. After returning to "OLTL" until it was cancelled, his character moved to Port Charles and joined the cast of "GH." Due to contract issues, the character of Todd was forced to return to the relaunched "OLTL" and Howarth was recast as Franco on "GH."
