Breaking Point

Nikki tells Michelle about what happens the night she tumbled down the stairs. She insists that she was pushed down the stairs…..by Maria! Nikki tells her that Maria is crazy and that she hates William even more than she hates her. She truly believes that Maria has killed her baby. Michelle suggests that William will find some way to settle the score, but Nikki tells her that he was only staying with her because she was pregnant. Lexi calls Michelle and tells her that everything is fine and under control. Lexi hangs up and starts her meeting with Clive and Maria!

Michael goes to see Nikki in her hospital room. He holds her hand and she pulls away. Nikki tells Michael that she did not just miscarry. Michelle takes Luke outside and tells him that Nikki is saying that his mother threw her down the stairs. Luke defends Maria by saying that she would never do that. Michelle tells him that he is not going to go in there and challenge Nikki on this. Luke then starts to wonder how his mother can be such a horrible person. Luke tells Michelle that he can't face Nikki right now. Michelle tells Luke that she will leave with him since Michael is in with Nikki.

Luke and Michelle take a walk along the beach. Michelle tells him that he is an established artist here and that he doesn't have to move to New York. He says that he can't help but think that he is wasting his life here. He then hugs her and tells her that he needs to be out from under his mother. William walks in and interrupts Michael and Nikki just as she tells Michael that there is something about William that he needs to know. Michael leaves the room so that they can be alone. William tells Nikki that he is an idiot for thinking that Maria would not hurt him. He promises her that she is not alone. He then promises her that Maria will pay. Nikki tells him that he doesn't need to lie because she knows that he was sleeping with Tania. She then tells him that there is something that she needs to tell him.

After The Fall

Nikki is rushed to the hospital. Michael stops by to see Lexi and Michelle at work. He asks them if they have seen Nikki, but they inform him that they haven't. His cell phone rings and it is the hospital. They called him since he is the first contact in her cell phone. Michelle and Michael run to the hospital while Lexi stays behind to watch the office. The doctor asks to speak to Michelle alone. She informs her that there is great risks concerning the baby because of the fall.

Luke and Michael run into each other outside the hospital. He tells Luke that he feels horrible about the way things went down. Luke reminds him that there are certain things that you don't do. Michelle steps outside and informs them that Nikki lost the baby. They all wonder how they are going to tell Nikki about the loss. Luke volunteers to call William and let him know what has happened. Michelle calls Lexi to check in and informs her of what has happened. Lexi lies and tells her she has been in the office all day. Lexi notices that none of the press articles mention her name…..and she picks up the phone to schedule a meeting with Clive.

Luke goes back to the hospital and tells Michelle that William is pretty upset over this. Luke tells Michelle that he worries that Maria has done other things that he doesn't know about. She is shocked to hear him say that he is thinking about making a fresh start….in New York. She acts as though she is really happy for him….but her sadness is obvious. The nurse interrupts the intense moment by telling them that Nikki is awake. They ask her if she remembers what happened and all she remembers is being at the top of the stairs. Nikki starts to cry when Michelle won't answer her questions about the baby. Luke and Michelle try to comfort her as best they can.

Eddie becomes enraged when his men tell him that they have not been able to locate Lance. He reminds him it is their fault that he got away to start with. Eddie tells them that they need to find Rodney because he is the one person that Lance trusts. Michelle and Luke tell Nikki that Luke went to visit William and tell him the news. Luke informs her that he is really concerned about her. Nikki thanks them both for being there. Luke steps outside and Nikki informs Michelle that she did not fall down those stairs. She tells her that she was pushed…..and that she knows who did it!

Safe Haven

Michelle tells Lexi that she is still a bit uncomfortable with the deal. Lexi insists that they had no choice. Luke arrives to see Michelle and she guesses by the look on his face that it has something to do with his mother. She tells him that it surprises her that Maria would ever think that she would fall for someone like John. He then tells her about walking in on Maria and Michael. Michelle laughs at the thought…..and says that it is disgusting. She tells him that she does not think that he is crazy for having a problem with that. He leans over the desk and kisses her. They agree to go out for a drink later.

John stops by to see Lexi and Michelle. He asks Lexi to lunch but Michelle tells him to leave. Lexi tells her that she had to flirt with John to get into Maria's office the other day. Michelle tells her not to trust him but Lexi assures her that she can handle John. Michael goes to see Luke and tells him that he feels horrible. Luke tells him that he does not care and orders him to leave. Luke brings up Nikki and how he is pathetic for crying over Nikki all of this time. Michael tells him to shut-up and punches him. Luke stands up and the fight between the 2 of them is on. Both busted lips when Michael finally leaves.

Nothing Ventured...Nothing Capital Gained

William's lawyer informs him that the investigation is air tight. He tells her that this is her time to shine and that he has kept her retainer for years. She tells him that he has either got to be patient or find someone that can help her get the money to post bail. William calls Congressman Spangler to come to the prison to visit him. William tells him to pull some strings and get him out of there. He insists that he will make it worth his while. Spangler says that he will see what he can do…but no promises! Michelle tries to console Nikki over William's arrest. She then informs her that his arrest has caused her company to be in jeopardy until they find another investor. Michelle heads out to work.
