Kate accepts Stefano's marriage proposal, Chloe finds her way to Daniel and Hope leaves Bo.

Maggie assures Nathan and Melanie that bail will come. Mickey’s working on it. Nathan is told he’s free to go but not Melanie, because of the charges against her in France. They were dropped, she says, but Roman insists she has to either post a guaranteed bond of $10,000 or spend the night in jail. Nathan wants to get the money for her and him and Maggie dash off.

Chloe tries to get out of her hospital bed to find Daniel and Lucas calls for a nurse while Lucas holds her back. She’s sedated for her own protection.

Daniel tries to walk to the hospital but falls unconscious in the woods. He wakes up and calls Chloe’s name and gets up. His head is pounding and he forces himself to go forth.

Hope tells Bo that the psychiatrist thinks Ciara being in the house is having a detrimental effect on Ciara and they need to relocate. Doug and Julie offered their vacation house so Bo agrees to do that, and makes a move to call the station for time off until Hope makes it clear he’s not coming along! Dr. Hancock says Ciara’s picking up on the instability in the house. Hope reminds him he gambled with their daughter’s life. Bo says if that’s what she thinks, she’s the one who needs therapy. Instead of being happy Ciara’s home, Hope wants to put him through hell, he spouts. The blame is solely on Dean, not them, Bo says and asks if they can stop playing the blame game. He reminds her she left when Zach died and they almost lost their marriage then. If she does it again, he wonders what’ll be left? Bo reminds her of how hard they worked to make their marriage strong again. Hope thinks trust can disappear and without that, they’ve nothing. Bo think this is a disagreement, and not worthy of her lack of trust. Ciara is home, safe! They’re interrupted by Justin. Bo tells Justin what’s going on and thinks he already knows. That’s why he’s there. "You’re leaving with her, aren’t you!" Justin is innocent but needs to speak with Hope. Bo leaves when somebody calls and Justin urges her to go after him. If she doesn’t it’ll be the biggest mistake of her life. Hope repeats what the therapist has said and Justin asks if this is about her leaving Bo. Hope denies it. She thinks time away will help them all, but Justin disagrees. "Take it from someone who knows. It won’t."

Stefano has brought a cleaning woman to the hotel room to clean the room of DNA, prints and anything that could be traced back to Kate. Lucas calls Kate and he shares that they had to knock Chloe out with a tranquilizer. Kate is surprised when she learns Chloe fingered her for attempted murder. Lucas thought this in the beginning and asks Kate if it’s true.

Daniel ends up at the hospital and a guard spots him and calls Stefano, who tells him he knows what to do. Daniel tries to report a crime but the guard takes him to Lucas. Daniel can barely stand up when Lucas sucker punches him and Daniel ends up flat on the floor, unconscious – again!

At home, Nathan comes down the stairs with personal possessions in order to pawn them for Melanie. Maggie says she’ll just cut a check, and wonders if he’s doing this to be Melanie’s savior. Maggie likes Melanie but the moment she stepped into town, she has been infatuated with Philip. Nathan tries to deny that he’s even thinking of Melanie in that sense and he can take care of himself. Maggie knows he can and apologizes for presuming and intruding. Nathan goes off to take care of Melanie.

At the manse, Stefano tells Kate it’s time to pay the price for his help. She’s fine with that but when he shows her a document, her eyes flash and jaw drops. It was unexpected. She can turn him down, but if she does… Kate smashes his chess pieces and he grabs her. "Alright! You win," she yells. Stefano says she’ll watch her temper and treat him with respect and thank him for what he’s about to do. "Thank you, my love," she says, bitingly. Stefano wonders why she’s so reluctant. Worried her family will think she’s getting into bed with the enemy? Kate thinks they’ll just have to understand. Stefano tells her to sign…She does so and Stefano says she has made him a happy man. A call interrupts that angers Stefano, who tells them not to make excuses. "Stay on the scene and keep me informed." He hangs up and tells Kate there’s a slight issue.

Daniel gets a bed at the hospital and a nurse looks at an x-ray and learns that before Lucas hit him, somebody else hit him harder. Lucas calls Kate. He has been arrested for hitting Daniel.

Philip arrives at jail. Why didn’t Melanie call him? They talk about Chloe and he says she was his childhood sweetheart and he owes her. Melanie says that this is all due to Daniel, who put them up to this. Philip is surprised and asks if she thinks Kate is the one who did this to Chloe. Melanie doesn’t know his mother. Philip says she’s kind and just wants to make her kids happy. Melanie thinks he should walk away. Everyone knows all she does is bring trouble. Philip will never walk away from her, he promises and goes to bail her out. Melanie considers his words and smiles. Nathan enters the room to discuss bail but Philip already took care of it, she assures him. Philip returns and thanks Nathan for all his help. Roman grins but lectures Melanie and Nathan to stay out of trouble. Philip and Nathan argue about who will take the beauteous Melanie home! Nathan threatens that Philip will answer to him if he hurts Melanie. If he’s not interested, back off! He’s interested in her, he admits.


Philip calls Kate. She’s wanted by Roman for questioning in Chloe’s attempted murder. Kate assures him everything is going to be fine. Kate hangs up and thinks she missed a few loose ends. Stefano’s not worried. He knows all about it.

Bo and Ciara play cards and once they’re done, Hope brings the luggage down. Ciara goes to get Tommy Bear and Bo accuses Hope of cheating with Justin. Hope is disgusted. Justin told her flat out not to do this, she says and is hurt by what Bo has to say. Just one more reason for her to leave! Ciara returns and says a touching goodbye to her father. At Ciara’s insistence, Hope and Bo embrace, sadly.

Back at the hospital, Chloe gets out of bed to look for Daniel. A nurse stops her. She’ll take her to him. Chloe sits at Daniel’s side and when she touches him, he wakes up, thinking it’s a dream. They profess their love and kiss.

Roman brings Lucas into his office. What he did wasn’t smart! Kate arrives. Roman needs to talk to her later, he says, before leaving. Stefano arrives and Lucas is surprised. Kate shares the news of their impending nuptials.
