As Jett packs to leave the hospital, Nick enters the room and apologizes for how he has acted toward Jett in the past. He extends his hand and asks if they can be friends. Jett narrows his eyes and asks if he's serious, and when he realizes Nick indeed is, they make up and shake hands. When Nick asks when the ISA is going to reassign him, and is surprised when Jett says they're not. He explains why and Nick commiserates by saying that he too got fired. When Jett tells him that Chelsea is asking her mother to get him a job at the University, Nick's face falls. Jett says the pay stinks as will the long hours, but at least it's in the law enforcement field. Nick tells him not to sweat it, "Chelsea's pretty stubborn when it comes to what she wants." Jett smiles. "Is that why you're here? To find out what Chelsea wants?!" Jett asks. Nick says he can never find out what Chelsea is thinking but mentions that they've got a history and are still close. Jett asks how close they are, but Nick can't answer when the nurse arrives to discharge Jett. He asks for a few moments and when the nurse leaves, Nick says he has found a job teaching Science at the University.

At the pub, Chelsea tells Billie she and Stephanie are rushing a few sororities. Billie is happy for her and asks, "We're okay?" Chelsea quietly replies, "Yeah." She asks a surprised Billie if she could hire Jett at the University. Chelsea apologizes for asking for something every time she sees her but tells her that Jett was an ISA Agent and would be an asset. Billie asks, "Was?" Chelsea asks for her trust, but Billie says she'd need more information but is happy that Chelsea is asking her for help. She asks how important Jett is to her daughter, and Chelsea remarks that Jett will leave Salem if she doesn't give the job to him. Billie asks her to have Jett come by. "I think I have an opening on staff," she says to an overjoyed Chelsea. Billie asks for details about their relationship, but Chelsea refuses to respond.

Nick arrives at the pub, kids in tow. The kids sit down at a table to play chess and Billie doesn't hide her shock that the kids are so intelligent. A proud step-daddy, Nick tells her they read and like science. Billie notes the pride in his voice and jokes with him about it. Chelsea rushes off to class and Nick brings up Jett working for her. She admits she's not sure if he has the job yet and turns her attentions back to the kids and says, she has not found anything about them but doesn't think they were born in USA. Nick tells her the story China Lee gave him and that he still refuses to go to CPS. Nick tells her he thinks Artemis gives clues to their past with stories about a place where he likes to play. Billie thinks he's a real man for hanging in there with the kids, but he puts himself down, calling himself a 'sucker'! Once she leaves, Nick sits with the kids and they jump into his arms when he asks if they'd like to hang out with him a little longer!

At the Inn, Kayla and Stephanie argue about Jeremy and Steph reminds her mother of her past with Steve and calls her a hypocrite. She begs her to let Jer go. Kayla reminds her that Jeremy is a repeat offender and Stephanie reminds Kayla that Jeremy was used, much like Max. Kay says that she's surprised that Steph is taking Jer back after all he has done and asks where Max fits in. Steph refuses to talk about it and instead professes her love for Jeremy. Jeremy comes out of the bedroom and Stephanie offers Jer money. Another argument ensues as Kayla tries to get Jeremy to show his true self and turn himself in. He takes the debit card Stephanie gives him and tells her to listen to her mother. He says he's all about himself and since the good time is over, so are they. He tells her to listen to her father next time she brings a guy around, and Kayla brings up how selfish Stephanie is behaving. "We could lose Pocket if we're found to be harboring a fugitive!" she cries. Stephanie doesn't care, so a frustrated and hurt Kayla tells them both to get out. They argue more and Kayla asks Jeremy to turn himself in. She promises to get him a fair trial but Jeremy can't do it. He kisses Stephanie goodbye and says he is off to Seattle and won't be in touch.

After Jeremy leaves and Stephanie runs back inside crying and carrying on. Kayla simply tells her she just turned Jeremy in.

Steve finds the strange markings on the funeral home door and flashes back to Rolf making them. Bo arrives in a mood. He is angry after not hearing from Roman and fumes as he thinks about what kind of danger his brother's in. Steve shows him the mark on the door and tells him he thinks the markings are a message to Andre that could get them close to he and Roman. They figure they'd better get inside, and they hide out waiting. Later, Andre arrives, sees the markings and wipes them off before entering the funeral home. Stealthily, he moves through the home as Bo and Steve spy.

Andre finds a letter under a table, addressed to him. It reads, "You may be comprised so protect yourself but protect the folio at all costs." Steve and Bo accidentally make noise, so Steve jumps up and makes himself seen, saying he's hanging about alone. He launches into a discussion about how he's trying to help save Andre's life. When Andre doesn’t believe him, he says he's the one who told Stefano to get word to him that the Brady's are after him. He says he did so to protect Benjy and when Andre says they both have no trust; Steve shows that he's not carrying a piece and gets close to Andre, and hugs him. Andre takes this chance to stab Steve in the abdomen and runs off! Steve tells Bo to go find Roman and falls to his knees in pain after Bo leaves.

Chelsea arrives at the hospital to see Jett and tells him he got the job. Jett's surprised and thankful. "I don't know your mom but I like her already," he says.

Jeremy finds Nick and the boys walking to Nick's car from the pub and asks Nick if he can harbor him. Nick refuses but Jer grabs his keys from him and races the kids to the car.

Max tells Chelsea, "There was no risk of getting burned." Chelsea asks, if he thinks Stephanie would hurt him, and Max confesses, "Not on purpose, but if Jeremy came back, yeah!"

Sami tells Lucas, "I just want to find my dad." Lucas yells at EJ, "You probably know where he is, don't you? What're you waiting for the right moment so you can step in and be the hero again? Is that it?" EJ just stares.

Abe asks Bo, "How is he?" Bo says, "Pretty bad. I have no idea where he is. We have to find him before he bleeds out."
