LGM - when we had the ice storm here a couple of years ago, crews from other states came here too. I watched the guys from Ohio working on the lines near my old house and I hollered out "You guys are either really brave or really stupid". LOL The responded "A little of both". Great to see help coming from all over. We may have our differences, but when push comes to shove, we as Americans come through for each other and we are the GREATEST humanitarian nation on the planet. Even giving aid to terrorist countries a while back when an earthquake hit, we flew in aid, the shooting and bombing stopped and we helped thousands. Then it was just another day again - fighting, shooting, bombing and killing. Love, Love, Love, that's what it's all about.

@Spring is near I wasn't effected by the ice storm but the counties below me were. They have been without power for almost a week. I'm glad there was alot of warming centers that put up cots and food for people in their time of need. I to hope their water lines don't burst. But I'm afraid thats what's going to happened when everyone's power is restored. Alot are probably dealing with that now since some of them have had their power restored already. Now all the plumbers will be busy for the next week or so. I don't think anyone wins in a situation like this ice storm.
