EJ learns the truth about Nick, Santa makes Kate and Gabi uncomfortable, and Stefano pays Rafe a visit.

Stefano watches Rafe kiss Jordan in the doorway of Rafe's apartment. They notice him and Rafe asks what the hell he's doing there. Stefano introduces himself to Jordan. Rafe growls, "Get out." Stefano says he made a promise to God to make amends to everyone he's wronged. Rafe sends him packing. Jordan says his apology seemed sincere. Rafe sneers. Jordan talks about this anger and hatred driving Rafe to get better. He asks what happened to her that she knows about such things? Jordan makes an excuse to leave. He invites her to join them for the holidays, but she says she'll be working. Once alone, Rafe recalls kissing her.

In the square, Lucas and Will complain that Sonny, Gabi, and Kate don't look very happy in the photograph with Santa Claus. The ladies flash to hiding Nick's body and tell Sonny Santa is the guy from the other night. Will presses for another photo and approaches a man to take it - he looks just like Nick! Gabi falters, but then realizes it's Rafe's PT. Santa tells everyone to smile like they were at the river, which leads to yet another photo being necessary. Will asks Santa about the river comment and Kate jumps in to distract him. After, she whispers to Santa that she doesn't want anyone to know she was at the river following her ex-boyfriend. He asks about their blonde friend. Gabi, Kate, and Sonny confer. They feel the man knows something. Later, Will sits with Sonny and Gabi and talks about Nick being gone. He thinks the three of them make a good family unit. Sonny admits he and Gabi have bonded. Nearby, Lucas asks Kate about the river. Kate takes a work call. Lucas rejoins the others to say goodbye.

At the Brady Pub, Hope and Abe discuss Sami's earring. Hope says something doesn't add up. They talk about Lexi and Bo not being there for Christmas. Hope doesn't know how she'll tell Ciara. Hope takes a call from Rafe that Stefano's back. Abe agrees to watch Ciara, who later tells him all she wants for Christmas is her daddy to come home.

At the station, Stefano laughs when Hope wants to grill him about Kristen. His answers mock her. Hope says it's not a laughing matter to Father Eric. Stefano says Kristen paid a price - she lost the man she loves. Stefano insists he hasn't heard from Kristen and doesn't know where she is. He imparts words of wisdom about parenting and leaves.

Stefano spots Kate in the park and recalls their time in Stockholm. He asks her to get together for dinner next week so she can tell him exactly what she thinks of him. As he leaves, Lucas asks, "Was that Stefano?" He advises her to stay away from him.

At home, Jordan emails someone to say she really likes Salem and wishes them a Merry Christmas.

Hope returns to the pub and tells Ciara that Bo isn't coming home for Christmas. Ciara wants to go home. "I'm tired." Hope says, "So am I."

Will puts the baby to bed at home and Gabi tells Sonny she's glad he knows the truth - she's having nightmares and needs someone to talk to. She hugs him. Will muses that she must be getting slammed by the Christmas spirit.

At the DiMera mansion, EJ mentions 'being by the river' to Sami. He pulls out a tag with the initials N.F. on it and says he found it a few feet from where her earring was located. Sami looks ill. He muses it could stand for Nick Fallon and they go back and forth until he wonders if Nick was following Sami when she lost her earring. When he moves to call Hope, Sami stops him. EJ asks why she's lying. Sami tries one more time to deflect, but EJ notices she keeps referring to Nick in the past tense and says he doesn't believe her. He begs her to tell him she didn't kill Nick Fallon. EJ realizes he's right and that Gabi knows too. Sami admits, "We killed him." She tells EJ everything, and that Kate was there too - it was her idea to throw Nick's body in the river. EJ nearly falls off the sofa when Sami says Sonny also knows. She assures him Will is clueless. Sami says they've been covering with his family. EJ stresses that this is all very stop-gap; he won't just fade away. Sami apologizes for not telling him. EJ embraces her. Stefano bursts in, "Ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas! I'm back!"

Salem Spoilers for the next Days Of Our Lives:

Brady celebrates the holiday by getting high... just as Nicole arrives to bring him good cheer.

It was nice to NOT see Brady today or any day for that matter. I think he took "snot sucking" lessons from Nick, whom I think is still alive. Stefano at the end of the show was hysterical. All he needed was a red hat like Santa. Later!

@Spring ITA!!!! I cannot STAND Brady anymore. Too bad he will be back tomorrow.

*Whew* Glad Sami told EJ and we didn't have any hysterics from either of them! Now THAT is a Christmas miracle Next I hope JJ gets his head on straight again and tells Daniel what Theresa is up to.

I enjoyed today's show. Stefano's entrance at the end had me doubled over in laughter. YAY glad to see Christmas being acknowledged. Bring on the ornament hanging!

@holdingon Merry Christmas! I'm so glad you are getting to spend it with your son.

Government really is something else...but the trip wasn't for nothing. I found a roll of quarters in my glove box that I don't remember putting there so I was able to get a pen. LOLOLOL Thank you G-d!

COACH - somebody!!! has to pay for the "affordable" health care act. LOL! If times are hard, let's go to our local dollar store, purchase a box of pens, mark them up 500%, stand outside or local Motor vehicle offices around the country and sell them to people before they go in. Of course, the drones would probably shoot us down or arrest us for not having the proper license that we forgot to sign in front of a public government official when we got it because we didn't have a PEN!!!!!!!!!! We tried to bribe a public official to allow us to use THEIR pen, but then we got busted for bribery and as they were chasing out of the building we slipped and fell over our own feet, blamed the government maintenance people, sued them up the wazoo and won a multi-million dollar settlement so now we don't need the frickin pens anyways. When we got the court papers served on us stating we WON, we STILL didn't have a pen and asked the process server if we could use his and ON NO! We are busted AGAIN for bribing a public official, but this time we were cuffed and stuffed and now we're roomies at the county lockup. Oh well, three squares, a cot, workout gym and cable and WE don't have to pay a dime, our expenses are paid for by the people who were smart enough to sell enough pens and to have their OWN pens when they got their license to sell them! LMAO!!!!

@Spring you crack me up so hard. LOLOLOLOLOL When I was in CA, one year when I went to renew my registration they informed me my car had not been registered the year before at ALL because *drum roll* I forgot a signature on one of like 17 places I had to sign when I originally registered the car. But of course I didn't get my money back, if I wanted a refund I'd have to accept never having my car registered by them ever again and they'd impound it on the spot. Seriously.

When I saw that machine I was thinking, what is this? The Jack Benny Show? Then again they did me a favor because I will NEVER leave the house without a pen again. LMAO

OMG! YOU crack me up!!! Double jeopardy I guess they call it. Can they think of any more? I don't want to know. Be sure and don't let your pen freeze in this winter weather. But do keep those quarters handy!!! Unbelievable!! Maybe we could write comedy based on our real life experiences. SERIOUSLY!!
