To continue, BEARIGAN, I can cover (or cut off) the "nads" as you say from my part of Michigan (north west), I think Little Guys Mom lives in the thumb, so you have south west covered, LGM has the thumb covered and I'll take care of northwest. For all of you Non-Michiganders, hold up your right hand, palm facing you, Michigan is the "mitten" state. Now you know for your next Jeopardy question. Anyways, I have noticed, and I am a people and critter person, when people are discussing their or someone else's most private, intimate details of their lives or I should say non-lives, they are loud!!!!!! REALLY!!! loud, like everyone wants to know and some do. The more graphic, the better. Especially if they are on their phones. Sad. And look at t.v., with few exceptions, the people call entertainment, while sitting in the comfort of their living rooms sipping cappucino, people are really living these nightmare scenarios t.v. calls "entertainment". Like the new show "Hostages" which airs this Fall. I yell at the t.v. when I see previews, which come on during Days, and say tell that to the families of the 2 hostages that were killed last week by yet another wack nut. Ask them if that's called "entertainment". Focus on the positive and helping others. And yes, I am my own boss, but still do a little cleaning, while getting my book going, which should be in the next month. I am at present considering "firing" a client as he is going through the big "D" and hates women, me included. He was very rude and unprofessional to me this past week, cut my cleaning days in half, no notice. So if I can pick up the slack, I will say "You're fired!". Not like that though. I am too professional to stoop to his level. Sad too, because he loves my work, but his "wife - ex" to be, told me he has done this to every cleaning service he has had. Another, and I won't say man, because I have met quite a few angry women", but another angry person. And I don't need it nor deserve it. Pray I get another gig and my book is going quite well. I am self-publishing and doing my own marketing too. Thanks for listening fellow posters. This board keeps my sanity!!! Blessings!!

@condesabays maybe our story lines would be more entertaining then some of the ones we have now.

I totally agree about JJ. I may be young and I may... or may not have had my fair share of moments when I acted like a brat at that age but I am more than willing to admit that I deserved a good woopen for treating my parents the way I did and I am more than willing to do it with my kids. If JJ were my son I think I would have already brought out the belt. My son is 4 and is learning the hard way that his friends may get to talk to their mommas that way but I won't put up with it.

Spring is near I don't understand why people want to be so hateful to everyone... can't we all just get along or at least pretend to be nice to each other?

BrandiG, I guess we live in an imperfect world, at least that's what I have heard. I do meet a LOT of polite, kind and caring people, whether it's holding the door for someone, getting a can of peaches off a top shelf in the grocery store for an old lady (which I did), she proceeded to give me her peach pie recipe or rescuing a critter (which I have done a lot of and live in a rescued zoo and PLEASE HELP CONTROL THE PET OVERPOPULATION. GET YOUR PET SPAYED OR NEUTERED - THIS IS ON MY E MAIL SIGNATURE AS WELL AS MY VOICE MAIL ON MY PHONE - BUSINESS OR PERSONAL. Someone once told me it was not professional. I said if someone doesn't like it, I don't want their business!!!! Maybe even just smiling at someone can make a difference. You never know what is going on in someone's life. That smile might make a life or death difference in their life that we will never know about. They might be thinking about suicide and change their mind because gave a dam!@#@# enough to smile at them or say hi or hold the door or let them out in traffic. You just never know. Random acts of kindness should be our daily goal, wherever whenever. Thanks LGM for your support too! Just got off phone with my book printer! Good news. Not as many $$$ as I thought to get started. Yay!!! Rescue fellow posters too! There's always room in the Inn!

@BrandiG I've raised 5 of my own kids and not any of them talked back to me or made my life miserable. They knew when I gave the look don't talk back and don't argue, what I say goes and no ifs ands about it. We never talked back to our parents because if we did we knew what was coming so we kept our mouths shut. Lololol. I guess I was brought up by the best.

You are absolutly right Spring! Random acts of kindness can make someones day.
