Will quits, Jennifer and Abigail return, and Brady makes a request.
Rafe tells Brady he's sorry about Madison at the pub. Brady says he knows Rafe lost someone too. He talks about Carrie going back to Switzerland with Austin. Rafe shrugs that it was the best thing for her family. Brady assures Rafe that he's doing okay and he's not using, which would be disrespectful to Madison.
At the hospital, Cameron confers with Daniel. He asks if Cameron's heard from Abigail. Cameron says she texted - they're back from California.
Will enters Jennifer's house and tells her he's so sorry. They embrace as Abigail looks on. Jenn leaves and Abigail tells Will she's being strong for her mom. She asks about him, and they discuss him coming out. Will tells her he didn't get a chance to understand what being gay meant before he had to explain it to everyone else. She asks if he's met someone. Will blushingly admits there's somebody he cares about. He confides that he's barely told the guy he's gay and has sent mixed signals. Abigail urges him to come clean. He leaves and Cameron arrives. Abigail agrees to go out and have some fun with him.
Adrienne talks to Sonny at the cafe about his fight. He says he's okay. Sonny's friend, Brian, comes over and awkwardness ensues briefly. Adrienne goes off to read her book after telling Sonny his friend seems nice. Sonny joins Brian, who says he'll wear him down by getting on his family's good side. Victor enters and expresses condolences to Adrienne. He goes over to Sonny, who introduces him to Brian. Once alone, Victor tells Sonny he's glad he held his own in the fight, and says Brian is a good-looking young man. Later, Sonny hesitates when Brian produces show tickets. Brian tells him to do something about Will or he'll lose out.
Billie spots Jennifer in the square and they hug. Jenn tells her the kids are traumatized. JJ is trying to be strong like Jack would, and Abigail is trying to be supportive. Billie hugs her again before leaving. Daniel appears. Jennifer tells him about spreading Jack's ashes and cries. Daniel says he understands. Jenn nods. "You do, don't you?" Daniel tells her what it will be like and tells her to let him know if there's anything he can do. Jenn wouldn't even know what to ask for. Daniel goes.
EJ and Sami kiss at her apartment. She pulls back, saying it's overwhelming. EJ kisses her neck, but she stops him again. Sami laughs when he asks if she's still attracted to him. She says now that they're home, she has things to deal with. Sami frets that the kids won't understand her planning to be a family with Lucas and then getting back with EJ. EJ thinks there's more going on. Sami insists she's trying to be mature. EJ brings up Carrie. Sami says if she ever wants to mend fences with the Swiss miss she will send flowers. Sami asks EJ about Rafe being Nicole's baby daddy, and if he still believes he's the father. They get a call from Will, who wants to meet with EJ about something important. EJ kisses Sami and says they'll continue talking later. EJ leaves, and Sami thinks about the men in her life. She's determined to focus on what's important.
Will and EJ meet in the square. Will asks about Stefano, and EJ being a DiMera again. EJ says he's his own man. Will feels the same way and tells EJ he can't work for him anymore. EJ says he's come to appreciate Will as a friend. EJ tells him he wants to get back with Sami. Will blurts, "That's never gonna work." He talks about Sami's failed relationships, and asks EJ why he thinks this time will be any different. Will leaves and runs into Adrienne, who tells him Sonny is with Brian - she's glad Sonny has someone in his life. After, Will ignores a call from Sonny. Meanwhile, Billie joins EJ, and tells him he got very lucky - so why does he look so miserable?
At the police station, Rafe realizes he left his phone at the pub.
Brady finds Victor at home and tells him Ian is gone, so Titan needs a stronger leader. Victor asks if he thinks he's capable of being that leader. Brady does. He tells Victor he can get out of his contract at Basic Black - his place is at Titan. Victor welcomes him back. He tells Brady that Maggie wanted to reach him about Melanie - Nick Fallon's up for parole.
At the pub, Rafe overhears Sami telling Caroline she's taking the kids to the waterpark and hotel. Rafe looks thoughtful.
