Victor sounds off about Nicole, Melanie realizes Gabi knows Andrew, and Sami convinces EJ to run.
In the tunnel, Brady and Chad dust themselves off and wonder where Melanie was when the explosion occurred. Chad warns if there's another blast no one's getting out alive. They search frantically. Meanwhile, Gabi helps Melanie out from the rubble and says she'll get her away from this lunatic, but Andrew tells Gabi to stick around and catch up. Melanie asks, "How does he know your name?" Gabi says he's the stalker. Andrew laughs as she goes on with her story. Gabi tells Andrew the cops are coming - he should let them go. Andrew says, "No can do," and tells Melanie that Gabi's not her friend. Andrew cuffs them to a post and says he'll be back. Melanie worries about the gas building up.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Daniel and Victor discuss Melanie's disappearance. Victor then brings up Nicole, asking, "What the hell are you thinking?" Daniel says it's none of his business. Victor says she's knocked-up and desperate. Daniel wonders if he told Philip who to sleep with. Victor says he tried, but he wouldn't listen either! Outside, Nicole and an upset Maggie discuss Melanie. Nicole tells her she's there because she was summoned by Victor. They enter. Maggie tells Nicole that she's the one who told Victor about her and Daniel being together. The join Victor and Daniel as Victor is ranting about Nicole. Maggie gets in Victor's face about going behind her back. She tells Daniel she's sorry. Victor forbids Daniel to have anything more to do with that... Daniel warns him to be careful. Maggie calls him idiotic, interfering, and overbearing. Daniel says Nicole's helped him get through. Victor protests that Nicole tried to kill him. Maggie says she can see how that could happen! Daniel and Maggie take a call from Roman. Victor warns Nicole she'll put Daniel in the middle of this baby custody mess with EJ. Nicole insists Rafe's the father. Victor says fruitflies have longer relationships than her. In the other room, Daniel tells Maggie she's the best thing that ever happened to Melanie. Maggie sobs, and then tells herself, "She's coming back." They rejoin Victor and Nicole. Daniel tells Nicole they're going. Victor tells Maggie he's not sorry. She says he will be! She warns he'll lose Daniel. Victor doesn't want him to get hurt. He apologizes and hugs her. Outside, Nicole warns Daniel Victor won't let this go.
In the square, Will tells Roman by phone that he just felt a rumble. Roman tells him Sami bailed out EJ.
At the station, EJ asks how Sami managed to use Countess Wilhelmina as collateral. She says it doesn't matter. Roman appears and demands an explanation. Sami says she's doing what he taught her - the right thing. Sami insists EJ's being framed. Roman thinks EJ manipulated her. Sami insists she's right. Roman tells EJ he has to wear an ankle bracelet. Later, as Roman is telling someone to find out the source of the tremor, Will appears. Roman asks about Will's new alliance with Sami over EJ. Roman gets a call about DiMera and tells Will to go. Will eavesdrops as Roman says EJ's jet is fueling and tells his men to stop it.
At the DiMera mansion, Sami tells EJ she was mugged for the flashdrive. EJ says she can't be involved anymore. He tells her to leave. She doesn't. They discuss how EJ's being set-up. He's surprised she defended him to Lucas. EJ tells her she can't be near him - she's a target. Sami feels he needs help - he's stuck with her. EJ says he is completely alone except for her. Will bursts in and tells EJ not to get on the plane. EJ says the person who set him up must have made it look like he's leaving. Will and Sami panic - the cops will be there any minute. Will wants to disable the police GPS so he can get away. EJ says it's insanity. Sami tells him the only way to prove his innocence is to stay out of jail. EJ and Sami duck out the back while Will gets on the computer. Roman bangs on the door and asks Will where EJ is. Outside, EJ asks Sami if she's coming with him.
Back above ground, Chad and Brady think the cops are probably in the tunnel. They try Gabi's phone, but Andrew has it and doesn't answer.
Still in the tunnel, Gabi assures Melanie that Chad will find her. A nearby panel sparks. Andrew reappears and tells them about the phone call. Andrew baits Gabi. Melanie orders him to say what he has to say to Gabi so they can get out of there. Meanwhile, Chad and Brady return to the tunnels and hear voices.
