Jack talks to Cameron, Chad and Brady search the tunnels, and EJ can't make bail.
Will meets with EJ at the station. Will says his attorney will meet him and the courthouse and Sami has the footage on the flashdrive. EJ thanks Will for his support, and warns that he and Sami will take heat for helping him. Will's prepared for that, and tells EJ he's like a cool older brother. Will considers him a friend, and EJ says he and Sami are family. They discuss Stefano. EJ says he loved him, and still expects him to appear and take care of this mess. Will wishes EJ luck at his arraignment. Later, EJ returns and tells Will he didn't get bail. EJ rants that his lawyer sent some assistant and his bail is too high. Will says he'll find a way to bail him out.
Outside her apartment, Sami, with a cut head, recalls being attacked in the park. Lucas lets her in and tends to her head. He wants to file a report. She says they only took her flashdrive, and admits she was helping EJ. They bicker about the gloves. Lucas says he ditched them because they had gun residue on them - she's helping him get away with murder! Sami doesn't like Lucas telling her what to do. Lucas says whoever planted the gloves in EJ's apartment is giving him exactly what he deserves. Sami insists EJ is being set-up - she doesn't want her kids father carted off to prison. Lucas warns she's making a big mistake for their future, and scoffs about Will following EJ around like the pied piper. He reminds her that EJ has thrown her under the bus repeatedly. Sami assures Lucas she wants to be with him, not EJ, but she can't leave it in the hands of Rafe and her father. Will calls her looking for bail money. Lucas wonders if she'll use the kids' college money and walks out on her.
Cameron and Abby discuss the fundraiser in Lexi's memory at the pub. Abby is distracted by thoughts of Melanie. Cameron takes her hand. As Cameron is telling her it's not safe to search for Mel, Jennifer and Jack appear and agree. Cameron goes out back with Jenn. Abby tells Jack she's a mess over Melanie. He reassures her. Jack asks about Cameron. She tells him not to do that overprotective thing and embarrass her. Jack just wants to be sure he's worthy. Outside, Jenn tells Cameron that Lexi would be very proud of him continuing her work and looking out for Abe and Theo. Cameron says he's also staying in town for Abby. They go back in. Jack and Cameron go get coffee. Abby tells Jen she just asked Jack not to give Cameron the third degree. Jenn says it'll be fine. Abigail says Cameron is really dedicated to everything he cares about. At the bar, Cameron tells Jack he has feelings for Abigail. Cameron tells Jack that Abigail loves him and is happy he's back in their lives. Cameron assures Jack there's nothing he wouldn't do for her. Cameron and Abby leave. Jack tells Jenn that Cameron may be in love with their daughter. He has the same look he had when he fell for her. They kiss. Outside, Abby and Carmine agree that life is good. They kiss.
Chad is in the square with Gabi when he gets a phone call from Melanie. Brady appears. Melanie's yelling that she's in the tunnels, but Chad can't hear her and she's cut off. Brady suggests they go to the police, but then remembers there are old tunnels under Salem. Chad says that's where Lexi was held and got sick from toxic gases. They go, and says she'll call the police, but she tries to reach Andrew.
Andrew grabs Melanie and takes the phone from her in the tunnel. He demands to know who she called. Melanie says it doesn't matter - there was too much static. Andrew says she betrayed him. She begs him to let her go, but he furiously tells her to get moving. After a bit, she can't keep going. Meanwhile, Brady and Chad are in another part of the tunnel and smell gas. Gabi is down there too. Chad and Brady spot her and are upset that she didn't contact the police. She sends them in the opposite direction and takes off on her own. Soon, they realize there's a gas leak. Meanwhile, Melanie sees Gabi, who holds up her finger to her lips and approaches her behind Andrew's back. He turns and flicks his lighter causing an explosion!
Sami arrives at the station and tells EJ she's come to bail him out.

) and jeans and Sami is wearing the pink jacket again but she combed her hair and the bandage and scrapes aren't even noticable. I wonder what she will tell him about the mugging. The scene was short and sweet, he was lead in saying you have a visitor, different cop. And she turned to him smiling and he said, what are you doing here and she told him I've come to bail you out with such a sweet smile and he just looked at her and then gave her his little lost boy smile. Sweet.
