EJ starts bashing the SPD and reminds them their 'evidence' is inadmissible in court. Roman thinks EJ's not as slippery as he thought. EJ denies killing Stefano and Will keeps defending him. "I've had enough of your little witch hunt," EJ tells the police. He leaves and the police discuss possible motive for EJ to have killed Stefano. Rafe starts having second thoughts about EJ's guilt. They need hard evidence. Spencer agrees. Gut feelings won't nail the killer. Roman starts questioning how committed the others are on proving EJ guilty. Rafe reminds Roman again that they need hard evidence. They need to do this by the book. Roman's more worried his friends and family will get hurt.

Nicole and Daniel have sex on her bed at the hotel. Afterward, she kills the mood by mentioning Rafe's name. He doesn't want to discuss what happened this morning. He wants to talk about how good she is at playing pool. She suggests he find out for himself. They have sex again and afterward, Nicole calls room service. They agree they're more than just 'friends with benefits'. Sami tears up. She really wants this to work. Lucas gives her a bracelet and they make-out some more. Lucas tells Sami that the bracelet was Alice's and she wanted Sami to have it. Sami's flabbergasted. Lucas admits he got it when he had just divorced Chloe. He held it for Allie but couldn't stop thinking about Alice wanting Sami to have it. Sami reminisces about visiting Alice when she was gardening. Sami always held on to the advice Mrs. Horton gave her. They discuss being best friends and then head out.

EJ denies killing Stefano and when Will brings up EJ not being Stefano's son, EJ tells him to stop bringing it up in public or it won't be a secret for long.

Will wanders into the pub and orders a new car to be delivered at his place. Lucas overhears. He just dropped the kids off and says it's almost as if EJ's taken up ventriloquism. Lucas worries about what happens when EJ turns on him. Will is confident that'll never happen which makes Lucas wonder what he's not saying.
