Worst-Case Scenario. Friday, April 06 2012

Daniel tells Abe the bottom line, Jack and Jennifer reunite, and Kate meets with Ian.

In the square, Abigail apologizes to Cameron, who is irritated that she ruined the photograph in his frame. He leaves, saying he won't tell her it's okay.

At the cafe, Jennifer and Jack discuss what Abigail did to Austin. Jennifer says they have to fix themselves to help their daughter. They argue over what led her to do it. Jennifer wants to remove the distance between them, but Jack feels that he hurts them all when they get close. Jennifer angrily leaves. He chases her, and admits he's scared all the time - he's worried he can't be the man she needs. Jennifer says he already is, but he has to move forward. He kisses her. Abby spots them and asks if they're back together. They kiss again, and hug Abby.

Kate runs into Ian in the square and he accuses her of having waited for him there. She acts offended, but then asks to go somewhere private. They go to his suite and debate about their marriages. Kate admits Stefano hasn't returned any of her calls and complains about 'his precious Marlena'. Ian wonders why she came to him. Kate muses that he's not so different from Stefano - she wants him to explain why he treated her as an afterthought. Ian says he let her go to protect her - he was being blackmailed and the person hired detectives to dig into her background. Ian says nothing can keep them apart now - Madison's his wife in name only - he's only ever loved Kate. They kiss.

In Daniel's office, he informs Lexi that she has an advanced tumor in her brain. Abe protests that she showed no signs before now. Celeste groans as Lexi confirms with Daniel that it's inoperable. Lexi leaves. Abe asks for the bottom line. Daniel says it's the worst-case scenario. Abe goes to find Lexi, who is seeing a patient. She starts to cry and he comforts her. He assures her he won't give up on her or them. Lexi says she won't either.

Abby, Jennifer, and Jack arrive at the hospital to visit Bo. Abby hangs back when she spots Cameron again. This time he lets her give him directions to Dr. Jonas's office. They exchange names, and he apologizes for being tense earlier.

Lexi and Abe return to Daniel's office, where Cameron has arrived. Celeste introduces him to Lexi, saying this is the secret she referred to - Cameron's her half-brother. She explains that Cameron's father took him away when he was five. Lexi is ticked off. Cameron tells her they met once, and shows her his photo. Celeste says Cameron is a doctor too. Lexi can't do this now. Abe tells Cameron they've just had some news they need to process. They go, and Celeste shows Cameron Lexi's test results. Daniel returns to find Celeste reading tarot cards.

At home, Lexi cries and hugs Abe, saying this is all she needs. He says they'll get through this. She nods.

In Alamainia, Stefano's goon tells him Mrs. DiMera was given the package last night. Stefano wonders what she'll do now, left to her own devices. The man asks why he wanted her to feel jealous of Marlena. Stefano has his reasons.

In their suite in Alamainia, John shows Hope a photo of Marlena and tells her she's her best friend - she is not Princess Gina. Hope protests that she doesn't know that woman and is not Bo's wife. She wants to sell the egg to the highest bidder and disappear together. John agonizes that Stefano is going to win. They bicker. John ties her to a chair to keep her from leaving, and goes. He returns with a newspaper clipping about Bo being in a coma. John implores her to remember as he unties her. Suddenly, she cries that she needs to get home to Bo. John says it's time to go - the princess and the pawn are gone. He shows her the egg and says they have an advantage over Stefano. Stefano hammers on the door and demands an update on the search. He spots the clipping of Bo and asks what the hell is going on.

Kate makes love with Ian, because she still feels that Stefano's in love with Marlena.

Ian's walking stick is embossed with a phoenix - one that matches Stefano's.
