Carrie kisses Austin in front of Rafe, Lexi gets tests, and Melanie is upset by a comment.
In the cafe, Gabi shows Abigail that people online think she and Chad are a cute couple. Abigail reminds her that Chad is with Melanie. They come in and Abigail goes to greet them. They rejoin Gabi, and Abigail talks about how much she regrets lying about Austin. Mel reassures her. Gabi watches Melanie and Chad as they play checkers. Gabi announces that there is something about Melanie online. Melanie looks and says, "Oh no." It says she's a gold-digger and a slut. Mel takes off. Chad brings her back and she laments that her past always comes back to haunt her. Chad says he wasn't a saint either - they've both changed. He lists her attributes that he loves. They kiss. Gabi watches. Melanie goes over and asks to use Gabi's laptop to hack in and delete the post. Chad is impressed. When they go back to canoodling, Gabi goes online to post another comment about Melanie - her login shows she posted the original.
In Daniel's office, Nicole and Rafe tell him EJ knows she's pregnant, and they've decided that Rafe is the father. Daniel asks if EJ believed them. Nicole says he wants a paternity test, but there's no way she's letting EJ near her baby. Daniel questions if Rafe is prepared to let everyone believe this. Rafe sees no alternative. Nicole also wants him to be sure. Rafe says EJ screwed up his life - he looks forward to repaying the favor. Daniel leaves for a consult, telling Nicole to call if she needs anything. Rafe and Nicole discuss their next move. Rafe thinks Daniel should fix the paternity test, but Nicole doesn't want him to get in trouble - they'll have to do it on their own.
At the pub, Austin and Carrie talk about how much stuff they've accumulated - he thinks they should look for a house. Austin raises the issue of kids. Carrie says they need to take things slow and rebuild their relationship before going there. Austin acknowledges that, and they start talking about renting. He shows Carrie a property - she loves it. He goes back to talking about kids, saying babies change everything. Rafe enters with Nicole. Carrie nods, "Babies do change everything." Austin steps away to take a call. Nicole asks Rafe if he wants to leave because of Carrie. He says he's fine. He goes over to Carrie, who says she and Austin are working things out. Rafe says he's happy for them, and returns to Nicole. He tells her Carrie told him they were a mistake - she always loved Austin. Nicole says she's sorry. Austin rejoins Carrie and notices her looking at Rafe. She reassures him and makes a display of kissing him. Abigail passes by and sees them. She turns to leave and bumps into a young man who gets angry. Inside, Carrie tells Austin she wants to be with him - it's been a long time. They head out the back door. Nicole smirks about the PDA show.
Marlena finds Will in the square. She encourages him to talk. He tells her he's tired of fighting what's true - he's gay. Marlena embraces him. He apologizes for being so difficult before. Marlena is just glad he's able to admit his true feelings. Will says he feels relieved, like a huge weight has lifted from his shoulders, but he's still worried about his future a bit. Marlena says being gay doesn't mean he has to give up on his dreams. She asks if he's interested in anyone. He isn't ready to date yet, but says Sonny will be a good support for him. Will is concerned that Gabi might be upset. Marlena thinks she'll understand. Marlena asks about telling his parents. He admits he's worried. Marlena reminds him they love him. Will thanks her. She says he'll be happy.
At home, Lexi's mother tells her and Abe that she came because the tarot cards show that Lexi's life is in danger. Lexi says she's had some headaches, but there's nothing to worry about. Her mother says she's wrong. Abe gets angry, but Lexi's mother begs her to get checked out tonight or she could die! Abe agrees she should do it. Lexi says she'll humor them.
Abe, Lexi, and her mother meet with Daniel at the hospital for the tests. Lexi goes with Daniel for the tests, and then returns to tell her mother she's glad she came. Her mother says she has to come clean about a secret she's kept for years. Just then, Daniel returns with the test results - it's not good news.
