Dads Against Daughters Dating Ever. Wednesday, February 15 2012

Ian visits an old flame, Madison attempts an explanation, and Sami confronts Rafe.

Jack finds a heartbroken Abby at the square crying. She tells him she's crying over a guy she goes to school with. She thinks he may have led her on. Jack starts huffing and puffing and asks for his name. "He's going to answer to me." Abby appreciates his support but must tackle this on her own. He tells her he joined a support group. DADDE. Dads Against Daughters Dating Ever. Abby laughs but he assures her he's serious. He thinks she has all the time in the world but she's in love. There's something in the way. She switches gears and happily tells him she and Melanie made up and accepted Madison's offer to model. Jack cringes, because Jenn is still against it.

At the hotel, Sami demands Carrie tell her and Austin the truth about her feelings for Rafe. Carrie flashes to kissing Rafe and declares she's not in love with Rafe. Sami yells that she is the same fickle bitch she has always been. If Austin hasn't seen it, he's an idiot.

Kayla has Sami's kids create Valentine's Day cards for Rafe at the pub. When Rafe arrives, they run to him and ask when he's coming home. Kayla ushers the kids into the kitchen to decorate Caroline's cookies while she fishes for information on Rafe and Sami's marital issues. Rafe tells her Sami caught him kissing Carrie. "Oh boy," Kayla says, as Rafe explains exactly what went down. Kayla thought she saw something between Rafe and Carrie when she taught them to waltz. Was she right? He doesn't answer. They're interrupted by Sami, so Kayla leaves while Rafe wearily wishes Sami a happy Valentine's Day and says he misses them. "And us." How he can convince her of this? She tells him to stop kissing her sister. She runs out and Rafe follows. He apologizes for kissing Carrie. Sami doesn't blame him entirely, she blames Carrie. Sami asks pointedly if he has feelings for Carrie. He replies by telling her he loves her, she's his wife, and his commitment is with her and their family. She thinks that's a nice sentiment but it's not an answer. She asks again and he doesn't answer her. She assumes he does. He thinks she's making way too big of a deal out of this. Sami groans. She can't get past this. Ever. He wouldn't kiss someone that way unless he has feelings for them. She's not sure how he expects them to be together with her knowing this. Rafe refuses to let her walk away. "Blue eyes you're my everything until death do us part," he tells her and then they share a passionate kiss while Sami tears up.

Kate's working when Ian steps into her office. She's surprised to see him. He comments that she never changes except to get more beautiful. Kate's bitter. Why is he there? He left her without reason or a forwarding address. He tries charming her. She shrugs that she hasn't thought of him in years. He reminds her of their time in Paris and she tells him she's had many lovely times in Paris with many interesting men. She becomes perturbed with him. He tells her nobody gets him the way she does, and moves in for a kiss but she tells him there's no chance of that. She's a devoted wife to Stefano DiMera. She shows him the massive bouquet he sent and threatens that Stefano would kill him if he knew he was here. Ian calls Stefano a sugar daddy. She tries hitting him but he grabs her hand and kisses it. She pulls away but he pulls her closer. He never should have let her go. He caresses her face and says he has moved back. "It's not Paris but it does have you." Kate looks affected.

Brady treats Madison with disdain when Madison comes waltzing into the mansion to explain her omission. She calls it complicated and blames Brady because he's the most wonderful man in the world. She has never loved another so much. Not Ian. Brady doesn't want to hear this and tells her to get out. She admits she owes Ian her life. He wishes she would have told him she was married before they got close. She's sorry and cries that she doesn't want to lose him. She loves him. Brady asks why she hasn't left Ian. Brady weeps and feels like a fool. He kicks her out.

Austin and Carrie come upon Abby hugging Jack at the square. Abby looks dejected. Austin apologizes for interrupting. Jack says they were discussing how all guys suck. He wishes he could read the riot act to the guy who broke Abby's heart. Carrie hugs her but Austin squirms and with pressure from Carrie, he says how sorry he is. Carrie presses for details so Abby milks it.
