Madison reveals she's setting up Kate, Stefano has a proposition for Chad, and Alice's "partner" is revealed.
Melanie attempts to hide her tears from Gabi at the spa as she opens up about her father leaving town. "I just found him and now I'm losing him." She isn't sure when she'll see him next. Gabi shows Melanie the test shots of her and Chad. Melanie's supportive. She thinks they both look gorgeous but it's obvious she's cringing on the inside. When Gabi asks if Mel would ever consider hooking up with Chad, Melanie insists they're just friends.
Chad meanders into the DiMera homestead. Stefano shows him the rarest coffee beans in the world. Chad doesn't think he's there for a taste test. Stefano wants to back Chad's new venture with Sonny. He can provide them with quality coffee beans. Chad doesn't want his help. Stefano claims he just wants to ensure his son reaches his top potential. Chad wants to do that on his own and refuses Stefano as a silent partner. Stefano had hopes that it would be the first step in working on their relationship. He asks Chad to dinner and though Chad refuses, he hopes someday Stefano will drop by the cafe.
At their office, Sami and Kate look over test shots of Gabi and Chad. They turned out well. They banter a bit and make plans to sign Gabi and Chad. If it works, Kate hopes this will help Chad and Stefano move toward a reconciliation.
Hope stares at the safe deposit key at the pub. She wishes they could get a search warrant but Bo reminds her it's impossible. She admits to considering breaking and entering last night. Madison watches from nearby and takes a snapshot of Hope. She grins and introduces herself to the couple before offering Hope a modelling gig for MadWorld. Hope's flattered but turns her down. Once Madison leaves, Hope explains that Madison's asking her to be someone she's not anymore. Based on those words, Bo gets an idea on how to get to Stefano. They meet with someone named Carol, who makes a quick call. They pay her off and she leaves.
Madison meets with Sami at her hotel. Madison says Kate and Countess Wilhelmina is in her way and they've got to stay ahead of her. Sami thinks that planting her as a mole at CW has already paid off and Kate hasn't suspected anything. Staging those fights was the perfect set up. Their plan is to attract all of the clientele Kate has completely ignored - the women over 30. Sami feels bad for Gabi since their plan is doomed to failure but Madison assumes Gabi will be fine. They break out the bubbly and toast to never getting on each other's bad side. Madison thanks Sami. "I mean corporate espionage? It's not all fun and games." They agree to let Rafe in on their scheme.
Kate shows up at the spa to offer Gabi a job modelling for CW. Melanie grabs her coat and takes off. She finds Chad in the square. He's on his way to talk to Kate and confesses that while he was doing the test shots with Gabi, he was thinking of Mel. Chad asks Melanie to lend an ear since he's having father issues. This causes her to weep and she tells him Daniel's leaving Salem. He comforts her as she cries that she's always left behind. Her mother, Max and Dario left her. Chad hugs her while she cries until she starts feeling guilty and runs off. He follows. Bo and Hope meet. Hope's nervous. They watch as Stefano approaches. He flashes to a woman calling from the bank to discuss an issue with his joint bank account with A Grayson. Hope makes it known that running into him was no coincidence. They were just talking about him and the safe deposit box he shares with Alice. Stefano rolls his eyes. Elsewhere, Chad catches up with Melanie. He needs her as much as she needs him and asks why they can't just talk as friends. It's too hard for her to stop saying no to him so she tells him to give up on her.

Victor nervously says, "Daniel there's something I've been meaning to tell you about your mother."
"Why don't you come out to your parents," some guy asks Will. Will chuckles.
Madison comes clean with Brady.
