Chad and Melanie are kidnapped, and the cops are hot on the case.
We’re walked through what happened on "Days Of Our Lives" previously with the Salem U website story.
Chad and Melanie are locked in a small room. They spot a camera. Two masked men watch from the other side while Chad tries to find a way out. Mel starts to cry and Chad apologizes. A man with a gun returns later with an accomplice.
Six hours earlier...
At Alice's, Abby prepares for her award ceremony with Jenn and Gabi. Abigail can’t get a hold of Chad. Jenn takes a call from Jack who is in the square. He asks if the girls are ready.
Will mopes at the pub. Sonny finds him to make sure he’s alright. Artie rushes in and yells, "They’re going to kill us." He grabs Will and demands he find Chad or he’s as good as dead. They all are. The guys running the gambling are "Very bad people who chop off fingers and make their enemies disappear. You cut off their cash cow and now they’re going to make us disappear." Will thinks he's on drugs but Artie's quick to tell Will to contact Chad. When they don't get a hold of him, they take Artie seriously. Bookies from all over the world were on the portal to the website. If they don't get the website up fast, they'll be dead. They can't get in touch with Chad so head to the town square.
Rafe introduces Jay Jordan, a Salem U quarterback, to Bo and Hope at the loft. Jay fills them in on how Will's life could be in danger because of the thugs who were placing bets on his website for months. He was threatened for months by two men who advised him to throw the games or they'd off him and his family. The minute he didn't, his family disappeared. Bo assures him they'll find them. Bo, Hope, Carrie and Rafe all go off to find Chad, Sonny and Will.
At the square, Chad ignores Abby’s phone call as he gets Mel to help him buy a gift for Abby. A thug with a gun stalks them. The man takes a call, telling an accomplice these stupid kids won’t know what hit them. Mel tries on the chain Chad bought so he’ll see how it looks on Abigail. They get close. The man bumps into Chad and Mel and Chad drops the necklace. The thug tells them to do what they’re told and escorts them away.
Daniel picks up Victor and Maggie at home before the ceremony. Daniel feels he's the third wheel tonight but is still fighting for Jenn. Today, however, is about Abigail. Maggie thinks Daniel has a big heart.
Jenn meets with Daniel, Maggie and Victor at the square and reminisces about when she first wanted to be a writer. Jenn finds Jack and thanks him for doing this for Abby. Abigail and Gabi turn up nearby and find the necklace Chad dropped. They bump into Austin and then Will, Sonny and Artie find them. They all get a text message photo of a gun trained on Chad and Melanie. Abby freaks out but Sonny asks everyone to stay quiet. They fill them in on what's going on. Maggie and Victor find Gabi and Will. Victor can tell something's wrong. Gabi lies that Mel's on her way over, so the adults leave.
Chad and Melanie are shoved into a small room and Mel demands to know what's going on. Chad's clueless. One tells them, "We're the bad guys," and smirks. Either their friends put up the sports page or they're dead. Chad tells them he's a DiMera but the thug knows he has nothing to do with his family. Chad lies that if they kill him, they kill the brains of the operation. The thug hits Chad, knowing he's covering for Will. The thugs leave and discuss the possibility of letting them go once they get what they want. Meanwhile, Chad reassures a bawling Mel.
Abby, Gabi, Sonny and Will arrive at Alice's place in a panic. Sonny stops Will from putting the site back up. They decide to take this into their own hands.
Back at the square, Bo talks to Jenn and Jack who don't know where Abby is. Nearby, Hope fills Victor and Maggie in. She remembers seeing an upset Abigail run off with Sonny. Bo puts out an APB as Artie finds them and starts babbling about the thugs that are after him. He shows them the photo of Mel and Chad.
At the loft, Rafe tells Carrie about the photo that everyone got of Mel and Chad. Rafe worries about telling Sami who is in Chicago with Madison right now.
Salem Spoilers For The Next Days Of Our Lives:
"Abigail it's not your fault," Gabi assures.
"Welcome to the party ladies," the thug says as he grabs Abby and Gabi.
Will declares, "If you don't let me finish, Chad and Melanie are going to die!"
Mel asks, "Chad, what aren't you telling me?"

You're welcome. I had a tough time so it's later than usual. I had no TV feed so thankfully working from home, I was able to watch on my big TV and Matt sent me photos. 
} Madison I was high fiving Kate, even though I know there is some sort of ulterior motive she is trying to develope here with Sami. Once again we got to see the Sami with some fire, I say it all the time get her out of the loft and away from that dumbing down please I'm not worthy crap and Sami is who she was meant to be!
