Let me get this straight regarding JER. I know that a lot of Days fans hated him. I know that he could make you furious with his storytelling. All his stories dragged out for months. But as I said this man knew how to write character driven. It wasn't about those crazy plots it was about how these situations affected the characters involved. The character went through these extreme things but they never lost their touch. He made DOOL as successful as it was in the 90's. I'm not saying that we need to go overboard with this but I do like to see some crazy stuff that would not normally happen in real life.

I was kind of wondering what your favorite DOOL storyline is? For me it's Maison Blanch, without a doubt. But I also loved the possession. I was sooo scared because of that Storyline. A few years later I watched the exorcist but it didn't come anywhere near Days' Possession story.

Also Kristen Blake is my all-time favorite character. I want her back on Days so badly.

I think what everyone has been referring to lately that has greatly improved int he cinematography! I agree that it has vastly improved...but I did not really like that sugar song that was playing when Dario left...and I would have wanted to go to the airport! Hmph!

I have not watched yesterday or today yet, but I have to say AGAIN, I love the pace that things are moving at now!

I do like how EJ is playing the wounded guy and eyeing Nicole, like he might give a damn...LOL!

I am sorry, I know a lot of people like the actor, but Will is as dry as Gabi these days to me...very flat!

Is it a coincidence that all the new stories and ending of old stories are happening at the end of summer and beginning of fall? First day of Fall/Autumn is Friday, September 23rd!

Always glad to hear from you Chrissi, hope the rest of your move goes well!

Aussie-gal, I have to say, as absurd as it was, I always got a grand old laugh from watching Passions, it was really OUT THERE!

LovingDOOL, I am not sure what we would all do without you…keep ‘em coming

Holdingonfordearlife, like you, my skin is finicky. They sell something called ‘joint water’ at Costco, and I am sure you can get it other places, but each bottle has the daily recommended amount of glucosamine and chondroitin. So, you can drink one daily instead of rubbing anything on your hands. I know many people who swear by it!

Everlena1973, always good to see you pop your head in; I know you are busy as ever! Hope your daughter is really enjoying first grade!

Makesmehappy, I cannot wait to meet you on Friday…woohoo! However, I did not feel too badly for Gus. He knows more than anyone else how ruthless Vivian is, he should never have thought that he was ‘special’.

Kyleedays, my favorite story line was the Colleen/Santo story line. But they did a pi$$ poor job of wrapping it up…so, not sure if that counts

For AMC fans...in case you did not know:
Military veteran and "All My Children" star J.R. Martinez got off to a stellar "Dancing with the Stars" start on Monday night -- scoring 22 points on his first dance -- but his road to the ballroom might be unlike any other star before him.

"I'm proud of these scars, I'm proud of my journey, and I'm proud of it because it led me to be right here with you," J.R. told his professional partner Karina Smirnoff on the season premiere of the hit ABC series.

Following his harrowing accident in Iraq, he underwent 33 surgeries, including numerous painful skin grafts and tissue expansion to repair the damage to his body.

The 28-year-old, who originally hails from Shreveport, Louisiana, went on to become a motivational speaker and an actor on ABC's "All My Children" -- and through it all, never lost his sense of humor.

"I only have one ear, so I only catch one half of the sentence," he said, joking with partner Karina in footage of a rehearsal shown during the premiere.

If you get a chance to watch the show...he will bring
    you to your knees!!

I don't like stories where weird, unlikely things happen, like wiggle your nose and and your whole house is clean or everyone goes back in time for a do-over...that's kind of like nonsense and belongs on sitcoms and sci-fi.

    But, I do like stories where unusual things happen that are or could be likely to happen in real life. Miracle stories are always good, and near-death experiences that cause a person to change or change their life for the better;
long-lost twin stories; re-uniting with a first love years and years later, accidentally switched at birth stories if done right, stories about 2 people who have always been enemies realizing that they actually have a lot in common, and uniting as friends to help each other through life's challenges; unlikely heroes...stuff like that.
