    Incompetent Cowboys.

    Tuesday, September 20 2011
Chloe wakes up and shocks Brady, Quinn is questioned, and Sami continues job hunting.

At home, Sami searches for a job and Rafe tells her he's glad to put Quinn Hudson behind bars where he belongs. Rafe promises to look into the job she's interested in as soon as he has time. Sami rushes him out the door as Jennifer heads in. She asks for help. She has a job interview today. Jenn quizzes Sami on questions the interviewer may ask and Sami finds something to wear to impress. They gush about Hope's party and what little they know about it and then go over how firm Sami's handshake should be. Sami cringes when Jenn suggests she get background information on the company to discuss it during the interview.

At the SPD, Bo and Hope sneer at Quinn, who refuses to confess to a crime he didn't commit. They remind him they've proof and juries have convicted on less. Bo learns by phone that forensics have found the blood on the nightstick to be Chloe's. In another room, Taylor maintains Quinn's innocence. Roman wanders in and asks if she impeded their investigation. She admits she had certain access.

Vivian meets Gus outside the pub. He thinks this is the start of time without Quinn in their lives but Vivian's a mess and demands he help her find a lawyer for her son. They rush off as Nicole runs into the pub to ask EJ for help with Taylor.

Chloe wakes up in the hospital and says Brady's name. She opens her eyes. Lexi enters and examines her, declaring she's on the road to recovery. When Brady tells her Quinn's in custody, Chloe says Gus was the culprit. Lexi runs to call the police but is called into emergency surgery. Back in Chloe's room, Brady admits he knows she turned to prostitution. He explains how he and Nicole found out and promises it'll stay between them. Chloe's ashamed but Brady understands her desperation. Lexi returns and Brady leaves a message for Kinsey about Chloe waking up. Lexi leaves and Brady tells Chloe her hooker days are over. Chloe worries about paying the bills and supporting Parker but Brady has a plan for her.

EJ and Nicole arrive at SPD and EJ stops the interrogation as Taylor's lawyer. Vivian turns up calling the SPD incompetent cowboys and demands Quinn's release. In the interrogation room, Quinn refuses to say more without his lawyer. Outside, Nicole and EJ take Taylor aside. Taylor confesses she kept tabs on the investigation but maintains that Quinn didn't attack the women. In another room, Vivian promises to bankrupt the department, calling this case an embarrassment. Back in the interrogation room, Hope and Bo discuss the case alone and a quick search has them finding that a young boy, Augustine Pascal, was abandoned on the pier years ago. They rush to tell Roman. Rafe and Bo think Gus could have planted the nightstick and hair. Hope thinks Gus could have turned to Vivian as a motherly substitute after being abandoned. They realize they've the wrong guy. As Abe tells Vivian to get Quinn a lawyer, the cops slowly surround Gus, who jumps with a knife and yells at them to stay away. They try to calm him down. In the interrogation room, Nicole and Taylor realize they've more in common than they thought. They agree to work on their relationship before Nicole goes to the main room. There, Gus threatens to slice his own throat. Hope tries to calm him but he claims nobody cares about him. He confesses to the crimes and Vivian gasps. Gus tells them he was smarter than any of them gave him credit for. He can't go to jail. Madam would be lost without him. Nicole wanders in and Gus grabs her and holds the knife to her throat. Nicole's in shock as the cops plead with Gus to let her go. Meanwhile, in the cells, Taylor goes to Quinn, who promises he didn't hurt those girls.

Salem Spoilers For The Next Days Of Our Lives:

EJ and the SPD attempt to stop Gus from taking Nicole with him.

Gus holds the knife to Nicole's neck and screams at the cops, "Stop!"

Welcome back Chrissi: Hope you enjoyed "squeezing"
in the last days of summer! Do not like bringing
my discomfort to the board..but since 25yrsofdays has
been worried about me..old arthur has taken control
of my fingers and I cannot play on the keyboard anymore.
I'm writing this slowly today just to say Hi to you Chrissi
and to thank 25yrsofdays for her concern. Even as I try
to type this...my pinkies are straight out...but...I always
consider myself lucky..there are others out there that
cannot move! You don't get anywhere always complaining!
You guys have a great week...it is AUTUMN here big time!!

holding, you say last days of Summer but for us Summer is just beginning. YAY!!!

Wow, I can't believe Vivian is leaving this week. Ivan comes back on the same day they leave together. I think Wednesday.

Anyway, a so-so episode. Taylor still bores me. Things would've been a lot different for me had the original Taylor stayed on.

Only a few more days and we will all get to see what the new writers are going to do with Days.

I don't ge4 how they are doing the Vivian and Ivan storyline at all. Something about him being extremely wealthy and they go off together never to be heard from again. Vivian is richer than rich anyway, however those two are the funniest and best when they are together. I love it when they add the humor to the show. Still trying to figure out how Quinn came to be her son, that seemed really far out in left field to me.

I am glad they are wrapping up the lifeless-boring storylines of late and we are getting ready for the new. I think this is such an awesome move on their part.

I truly think there are some characters such as Dario and perhaps even Carly that could have had great potential for the show especially with Jack coming back, but somewhere along the way the other writers lost something or maybe never had what it takes to keep Salem and the viewers happy.

I truly love Nicole, she can be so funny yet show so much emotion when she needs to and never ever takes Kate's crap or anyone else's for that matter.

I wish to they could come up with some better for Roman, Abe and Lexie since they pretty much have the same lines always. And how is it that Abe runs the police dept since he is Mayor now. I truly love the connection between Abe and Lexie even when Lexie almost blew it with Brandon. Speaking of which I really liked him on the show as well and think there could be a place for him. Would have been a tremendous improvement over whiny Taylor.

Hopefully there will be a little more excitement surrounding the young ones now as well. I truly like the Chad and Abigail thing. Also would like to see something more for Will and Gabi though I think I liked the first Gabi better. This one almost seems a little old/mature for the age they have them being. Hopefully there will be someone for Mel too. I didn't care too much for her at first but she has grown so much and I truly love her spirit and her acting now. Though I think they could have brought her on the show in a different way instead of being Trent's adopted daugther and Max's sister. Whew there for a while I got really confused in that circle and then along comes Carly and she is her Mom and that made my confusion even worse.

Well enough for today so everyone as always love reading the posts and have a fantabulous day.

I love how the new writers are ending things. Everything I heard about the new-days has been great except for the fact that they seem to let go of the crazy storytelling. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want the show to go overboard with this but the story’s like Aramid, Alamania & Maison Blanch got me hooked on this show in the first place. The plots weren’t all that important in these story’s it was the character’s reaction to it, how they got through it and tried to live on from it. I would like to see a little of that back, it was what made DOOL very popular. Now we seem to get realistic storylines, which I think could be great but also boring. I don’t want Days to be boring. These writers wrote under JER, so I’m sure they’re able to write something compelling. I just want a little bit craziness. Too bad Vivian’s leaving.

I can tolerate Taylor much more now that she’s out of EJ’s orbit and involved with Quinn. Still she’s the worst character ever created. Thank god that her creator is gone and still unemployed.

I don’t like Chloe like this. I mean she’ll be gone in one week and we’ve only seen her in that hospital bed. I want to see her back on her feet again. I want her to be reunited with Parker (&Philip).

I absolutely adore Broe and I appreciate the fact that MarDar acknowledged their connection. But it doesn’t really make sense. They rarely had any scenes together since they’re back (Thanks Dena for ignoring that they were married). Well, Let’s just hope that all ends well for Chloe.
