Maggie offers Chloe help, Jennifer spies at the prison, and a mysterious woman heads to Salem to see Nicole.
Kate arrives on Daniel’s doorstop offering to help Melanie. Melanie thinks she has ulterior motives and reluctantly opens a small music box of Philip’s that Kate gives her for the baby. Melanie looks for the mind control button and Kate wants to discuss her getting back together with Philip. It's what's best for the baby. Melanie accuses her of being as bad as Daniel. They bicker about Philip’s indiscretion and Kate reminds her she loved Philip once. Melanie’s had enough of everyone hammering her and wonders if Kate does this to Chloe, too. Kate pleads Philip’s case with Mel, who can’t stop thinking that Philip betrayed her. They agree on one thing – that they should take Parker away from Chloe and raise the boy themselves. Melanie says Kate makes it sound so easy, but Kate really thinks it is, and could help lessen the pain of the betrayal. Kate thinks a case can be made against Chloe for being an unfit mother. Melanie ends the conversation and Kate takes off.
Philip runs into Chloe at Cheatin’ Heart, wondering why she’s there in the middle of the day and who is taking care of their son. He takes her drink from her and complains that their son’s name is Parker. They squabble over who the daddy is and she accuses him of being like Kate. Philip asks how she’s doing and she snipes at him. Maggie arrives with a bawling Parker. Chloe’s an hour late for picking him up. Philip holds his son and chastises Chloe for not telling Maggie where she’d be. Maggie notes Philip has the magic touch with the baby, who stops crying. Philip takes his son for a walk while Maggie tries talking sense into Chloe, who says she’s been acting out and obsessing about her situation. Chloe knows she has to pull it together or she’ll lose Parker, too. She admits she hates where she lives. Maggie’s reassuring but Chloe whines that she can’t even make enough breast milk. Maggie asks if her mother can pay a visit but Chloe doesn’t want to admit to her mother that she has made a mess of her life again, so Maggie suggests she go home with her. Chloe’s relieved and thankful.
Jennifer steals Ben’s keys at the pub. Jane, fingering Bo’s photo, calls, and tells Ben he’ll be getting a shipment tonight. They hang up and Ben says he’s obsessed with work. They go their separate ways.
Rafe arrives at the loft, happy to see Syd today. Sami says the custody agreement looks great and is relieved when Rafe explains that Nicole’s out of the equation. They profess their love for each other and kiss, then wind up having sex until Allie cries for mamma.
EJ’s on the phone in the great room telling Stefano he has modifications in their plans for Rafe. He hangs up when Nicole walks in asking if the noise in the basement means he’s making a playroom for Johnny. She wants to see it and when EJ has a spaz attack when she heads to the door, she realizes something’s going on that she shouldn’t know about. She takes off to bring Johnny pizza and EJ gets back to Stefano, saying that step one starts tonight!
A woman (Taylor) tries to get a ticket to Salem, but her credit card’s rejected. She swears she paid them and worries about how she’ll get there now. She only has seven bucks to her name. She stares at an old photo of Nicole and calls to find out when the next bus to Salem is leaving.
Jennifer arrives at the infirmary and breaks into the files, where she finds a semi-hidden folder with April’s name in it. Outside the door, Lee agrees to check Jane’s computer for hackers, and Jane reports that Bo’s organs will be ready for transport. They take off to check on something as Jennifer works fast at getting information.
When Sami and Rafe arrive at EJ’s office, they’re angry to hear that Nicole’s going to be the children’s step-mother. Sami accuses Nicole of lying, saying she wasn’t going to marry EJ. EJ says his personal life doesn’t have anything to do with this agreement but Rafe reminds him that Nicole once kidnapped Syd. Sami doesn’t want Nic near her kids, but the agreement states that Nicole would be the children’s guardian if anything should happen to EJ. The ladies threaten each other and the men separate them. Rafe suggests getting the kids back is the most important thing here but Sami throws a fit and crumples the agreement up. Nicole asks Rafe how he can stand Sami.
Jennifer returns to the pub and drops off Ben’s keys on the bar. She looks at the photos she took from the infirmary as Ben walks up. He goes to look for his keys at the bar while Jennifer hopes he doesn’t notice that one’s missing.
Philip goes on a walk with Parker and tells him he’ll do anything for his son – for both his kids and nobody will stop him.

Chloe yells that there’s something wrong with her son. She knows it!
Nicole yells at Rafe, "He doesn’t even have to give her shared custody. How about that?"
Sami vows, "I will see her dead before I let that happen."
