Vivian and Gus are forced to jump off a plane, Johnny turns up at SPD, and Nathan learns the truth.
Melanie has finished cleaning Maggie’s house, in order to keep her mind off her troubles. Maggie reminds her she once admitted she may have married the wrong man but Melanie says that it’s too late for her and Nathan now.
Nathan goes to Stephanie and tells her the truth is all over the hospital about Parker not being Daniel’s baby and Caroline switching the paternity results. He assures Steph the stroke wasn’t caused from stress and wonders why Caroline went through the trouble at all. Steph plays innocent and Nathan leaves. Kayla returns and Steph worries about her future with Nathan.
At SPD, a cop brings Rafe DiMera files and tells him to get the rest. He wants to find something to make a case on the DiMera family.
Stefano laughs at Nicole for allowing EJ to track her whereabouts but Nicole doesn’t care as long as she can be in the children’s lives. Johnny sneaks out of the house as Nicole and Stefano are bashing each other’s choices in marriage. Later, Mary interrupts, saying Johnny’s missing. Stefano calls EJ.
At the loft, Sami realizes the jig is up. EJ didn’t buy her lies and says Sydney’s happy to be reunited with the mother she knew from birth. EJ says he’ll be grateful to have a mother who doesn’t put the man she’s chasing in front of her children. They bicker and Sami threatens to kill EJ if Nicole makes her kids miserable.
Vivian comes between Philip and Brady during a fist fight at the mansion, over Philip’s affair with Chloe. Philip blames Vivian for Chloe cheating on Daniel and tells Brady the story about what Viv did to Chloe to get to Carly but Vivian denies it. Brady leaves and Philip yells that Vivi ruined his life. She tells him he's absolved but he doesn't care and storms off and she takes a call. When Gus turns up, she says they’re off to Bermuda for a business meeting. She calls to have the jet fueled.
Johnny shows up at SPD after a cop picks him up. He tells Rafe he wants to see his mommy.
Kate meets with Brady at the pub. She learns that Philip and Brady were fighting over her new grandchild. They discuss their plan to get rid of Vivian and Brady’s sure Victor will be on board with their plan. He fills her in on how Vivian’s partially to blame for Chloe cheating on Daniel with Philip and says he doctored the on flight coffee as part of their plan.
Philip shows up on Maggie’s doorstep to see his wife but Maggie’s angry with him. Melanie pokes her head in and Maggie yells at Philip before heading to the hospital. Once she’s gone, Mel advises Philip to stay away from his son or he’ll just wind up hurting him like he does everyone else. Philip says he has never loved anyone as much as her and then leaves the house.
EJ takes a call from Stefano, who tells him Johnny’s missing. EJ lies about the nature of the call to Sami, who receives a text from Rafe, telling her Johnny’s at SPD. She tells EJ nothing but they leave together.
Gus and Vivian are on the plane. She refuses the coffee so he drinks it. There’s lots of turbulence and Gus rushes to the bathroom, feeling unwell. Vivian clutches her stomach and feels as though there’s something very wrong.
EJ arrives at home where Stefano tells him that Johnny left. He didn’t tell Samantha because he knows she’ll never let him live it down. When Nicole walks in, EJ yells at her and threatens her for letting this happen. She heads to the booze. Somebody from the police station on Stefano’s payroll calls EJ to tell him that Johnny’s at SPD with Rafe. Nicole and EJ rush off.
Rafe unpacks Johnny’s rucksack and finds a banana, socks, and an action figure. Johnny tells Rafe he doesn’t want Nicole to be his mommy. Sami arrives and tells him she’s his only mommy. He promises not to leave like this again and Sami whispers to Commander Hernandez that they should turn the tables on EJ and run off with Johnny. Rafe says they can’t. Sami tells her son it’s best to be with his daddy right now. They hug and EJ and Nicole show up. EJ’s mad that they took their time telling them that he was found. Nicole leaves with Johnny and EJ thinks Sami orchestrated this. Sami denies it. She tells him he can’t stop Johnny from loving her but EJ thinks she’ll do that all by herself.
Brady and Kate arrive home and receive a call from the pilot who tells Brady that Ms. Alamain hasn’t had anything to drink yet. Brady rather likes the idea of her wondering what’s to come. On the flight, the navigator tells Vivian the flight plan was changed and he hands the phone over to her where Brady tells her he is the one who changed it. They’re taking back Titan! Vivian’s fuming so the navigator says if Vivi doesn’t like it, she can jump! Later, she’s suited up and she and Gus are thrown from the plane with parachutes.
Caroline and Steph head into Caroline’s room and Kayla tells her daughter she should be more worried about her grandmother, not her relationship. They argue about Stephanie’s plans to keep the truth from Nathan and Steph won’t forgive Kayla if Nathan goes back to Mel. Caroline wakes up and tells Kayla to leave everyone alone. Her machines start beeping as she goes into distress and Nathan stabilizes her. She tells him to send in a priest. Later, Stephanie tells Nathan Caroline’s reason to keep the truth from Daniel. She didn’t want another Kiriakis to ruin another life. Nathan’s confused and Steph realizes he didn’t know that Philip’s the father. Maggie arrives and congratulates the pair on getting married tomorrow. When she’s gone, Nathan admits he just heard the truth about Philip. Nathan’s angry and thinks Mel’s better off without 'the jackass'. Philip turns up later for a board meeting and confronts Stephanie.
Nathan arrives on Melanie’s doorstep.
