Days was shut out of the actor and actress nominations for yet another year, as usual and this Editor-in-Chief is saddened by what some may call a flawed system. After watching every episode this year, I felt that Kristian Alfonso, Peter Reckell, Rachel Melvin, Alison Sweeney, and Julie Pinson all had a decent shot at an Emmy nomination or a win this year. Soaps.com congratulates them all for doing a splendid job. Emmy or no Emmy, the show and actors will always have my vote!

This is a sore spot for me today. Not one actor or actress made it into the actor/actress nominee categories.

I'm extra disheartened because when I make the trip to the Emmy's this year, I won't get to see as many of the actors and actresses that I'd hoped to interview! (Yes, that's completely selfish but hey.... I wanted to meet as many of our fave actors as possible!!! Ah... just trying to lighten the mood. )

    I'm in a funk!

it isn't fair, especially since they have been overlooked so many times, this past years storyline with Zacks death and Kristian Alfonso's portrayl, i thought she would atleast get nominated..

I'm just totally fed up with the Academy! It's been way too many years since Days and/or any of its cast has been nominated for the categories of drama, lead, supporting and younger actor/actress. I thought for sure this was the year for Kristin, Peter and newcomer Chelsea...they all turned in excellent performances, especially with the s/l written for them. I will not watch the 2007 Emmys this year in protest. Days' once again was robbed!

Well, I agree with all of you! I will not watch the Emmy's either. Every year "Days" is shut out of the top nominations. It was a great year with the Zack/Bo/Hope/Billy storyline, not to mention all of the others. The show has been on 42 yrs and I have been watching it for 37!! I cut out the others years ago because there are not enough hours in the day to watch them all. I stayed with "Days" and I'm glad I did! PLEASE RECOGNIZE THIS SOAP!
