Think back. Do you remember Joe Gallison, who played Dr. Neil Curtis on Days of Our Lives from 1974-1991? spoke with him last February, when he recalled his time spent in soaps. You can read that interview here. We were happy to learn that since his time in soaps, amongst many other things, he was fairly busy in theatre and in occasional film roles, playing golf and basically enjoying life! Well we recently found out that he’ll also be participating in the North Carolina Azalea Festival, in Wilmington, NC., which is being held April 1-5. As posted on their website, "The Festival is a celebration of Wilmington’s exceptional artwork, gardens, rich history and culture during its five days of entertainment that includes: a parade, street fair, circus, concerts, pageantry, and all that is Southern."

If you’re interested in going, you can download order forms to get your tickets from their website, NC Azalea Festival, or by sending a check, money order, Visa or MasterCard payments with completed order form to: North Carolina Azalea Festival Office P.O. Box 327, Wilmington, NC 28406.

If you need more information about the tickets, please visit the above link and above all else, enjoy the festival!

I remember Neil Curtis and his beautiful leading lady Liz Chandler. With a voice like an angel she and Neil took "romance" in soaps to a whole new level. The thing dreams are made of!
