    The new Will.

    Updated: November 4.

Viewers can expect to see Guy Wilson make his debut in Salem as Will Horton during the first week of January. Soaps.com will update you when more specific information becomes available.

    Original article: September 12.

Since Chandler Massey's departure from the role of Will Horton was announced, viewers have been eager to find out who would be replacing him. While doing a radio interview, Jen Lilley (Theresa) let it slip that Guy Wilson has been cast in the role. Wilson has some previous soap experience, playing a small role on "GH" back in 2006. Since then he has made appearances on "Castle," "NCIS," "Bones," "Hawaii Five-0" and "Breaking Bad."

Massey has already left the role of Will, shooting his final scenes on August 23 so that he could leave his contract early.

I'm so sad Chandler Massey left the show. Hopefully Guy Wilson could do as good as Chandler did.

I thought Chandler's scenes would air through December (since he filmed into august. But the comings and goings section makes it seem like we won't see those scenes and that Guy Wilson will be taking over. Does that mean ",Will" is in CA until January and comes back as Guy Wilson? Or do we still get Chandler as Will through December?

kayhan, I'm assuming that we won't being seeing the scenes that Chandler shot becuase it says that Guy Wilson will be taking over the role as Will on November 14th.

Hopefully Guy Willson can stand up better to Nick, and protect his child as will. Nicks going to be trouble, hope Wil,will catch on faster. Chandler Massey was a great actor, but had little fight in him. need to see more of that in this new wil.

I am not impressed with the replacement for Will Horton. He does not have good chemistry with Sonny and seems very introverted compared to Chandler Massey's portrayal of Will. I would rather see Will's character exit Salem than being portrayed by Guy Wilson. Let's face it, Guy has very big shoes to fill.

I know it takes time to get used to a new actor playing a part, but sad to say the new "Will" is not doing it for me. He just does not have 'it' - he is so timid and has ZERO personality! Sorry. Cookie Monster would be better in the part.

I am sorry but Chandler Massey will be missed. I am not into his new replacement.
