Shelley Hennig (Stephanie), Molly Burnett (Melanie) and Rachel Melvin (Chelsea) of Days of Our Lives participated in the Live Positively Holiday Parade on December 13. The parade, presented by Coca-Cola, was designed to promote the holiday spirit and encourage those living in Los Angeles to live positively.

The mile and a half parade traveled from Washington Blvd to Figueroa, ending up at LA Live where a tree lighting ceremony and other holiday festivities took place. With interactive floats, local marching bands and multicultural performances, the event set out to tell a story of joy, love, peace and happiness.

Although this was the first time to be held in the U.S., the Live Positively Holiday Parade is part of Caravana Navidena Coca-Cola, which is a 27-city holiday caravan that has been going on in Mexico for the past seven years.

Aside from the Days ladies, Soaps.com has learned that Tommy Lasorda (legendary coach and manager of the L.A. Dodgers), Eugenio Siller (telenovela actor, "Al Diablo con los Guapos"), Tania Vazquez (telenovela actress, "Al Diablo con los Guapos"), Robert Losardo (actor, "Nip/Tuck"), Michael Cooper (coach of the L.A. Sparks and former L.A. Laker), Evan Lysacek (national champion figure skater) and Paula DeAnda (recording artist) also participated in the parade.
