    Two awards.

    If you missed Saturday's Daytime Emmy telecast, you can catch our blow by blow recap of the awards, by reading Soaps.com's Live Emmy Blog. "Days Of Our Lives" finally broke their history of being snubbed in the writing department. The series took home the award for Outstanding Writing at Saturday night's 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The trophy went to the recently fired Head Writers Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas Jr. Chandler Massey (Will) was named Best Younger Actor for his hard work as one of Salem's most troubled teens.

    Chandler so deserved this award! Hip HIP HORRAY! Loved it that Days one for writing too and I agree it was about time. Days has had some fabulous writing and then not and fabulous acting and then not but we continuously got snubbed year after year. I wish we had won Drama show too because I am sick of GH always winning.

    I am so proud of you Chandler. As amld's said, You so deserved this award.
    Encouraging the writer's to write EVERY DAY as if you were writing for next years Emmy.. Every Day, Every word.
    Again, CONGRATULATIONS Chandler, YOU DID IT !!!
    Molly & Jack, you should have won.. But that's OK.. You WON in our eyes and hearts. God will make sure you get what you deserve.
