    (NBC)
The Days of Our Lives theme song has been running through your head for decades. Now, you have the opportunity to not only hum that tune for the next several decades, but also co-own it!

Through SongVest, an online music auction company, you can bid to own a portion of the Days theme song. The winner of the auction, running from October 4 – 18, 2008, will receive a plaque naming them the co-owner of the song, along with other collectible goodies.

Written by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, the Days theme song was written for the soap’s debut in 1965 and modified in 1993 and then again in 2004, however it reverted back to the 1993 version after just eight episodes.

For more information on owning this piece of pop culture history, check out the SongVest website and get ready to place your bids!
