I know this is a soap and they have their own rules BUT this has really been bugging me – although Nicole has had the same shirt on since the day she found out the baby was dead, I don’t think that it’s the same day – so if a few days have gone by I don’t think in real life a woman’s body would be able to keep a dead child without the mother getting very sick. Maybe I’m wrong and I’m hoping someone can tell me. But, if I’m not wrong, I really think this is something that the writers should have paid close attention to. Just sayin’!

I agree ChiSox1. How in the world could they have played this so long. I seem to remember her in the same top last week Friday. Someone with a DVR can probably confirm this. So, in essence it took a whole week for one day to pass. It finally got to be night time late yesterday!

well I think Nicole found out that the baby was dead in the morning and she fell down the stairs at night. Also it is possible for woman to live years with an unborn baby inside her without damage to her health. It is very rare but I did hear of a case where a woman in india left a hospital while in labour because of the horrible conditions her contractions stopped and she never gave birth. Since she lived in the countryside and did not receive any care she believed that her baby was sleeping inside and would come out when it is ready. I saw it on a documentary a while back very interesting.

Just seen today's episode, I was definitely in tears. It was just so sad, but I can't help but feel for her. I know I'm in the minority but I think she isn't really trying to pin this on Jen intentionally. Clearly she delusional, you can see in the scene when she held the baby and was talking to him. I think she is in a state of shock and in her delusional mind she believes Jen really pushed her. But, I think that was her initial reaction, I think after talking to Dan, she was definitely milking it, which is pretty sad. Like someone else mentioned, she should be honoring her baby's memory not by misleading people and using this for her own agenda. I think Jen does bear some responsibility because she was ruthless attacking Nicole at every chance she got. And it was never her place nor her business. I think the stress on a high risk woman doesn't help. Plus why would you struggle with a pregnant woman on the steps? I know she was trying to get away, but come on Jen, that could have been handled better.

Also, sadly I think this is the end of baby sl. I guess the writers wanted to stir up some drama other than a paternity secret. So in that respect, I can appreciate that, but on the other hand no one wants to watch anyone lose a child. But I don't feel bad for Jen and her guilt, she just told Nicole she was going to lose at being a mother. Sure she wasn't routing for this, but she felt like Nicole wasn't going to be capable of being a good mother. Again I know I'm in the minority, I agree Nicole brought a lot of this on herself and she isn't a good person. But I don't think that equates to her constantly losing these babies.

I wanted so much to believe that the glass was half full and some how the baby was alive. But, after Nicole held that baby and with Cameron and everyone else, I have to say I don't think so. I cried with Nicole, yes I did, but then I got so angry -- Nicole (as much as I love her) lied flat out to Daniel. She said, "I was going down the stairs and I felt something, she pushed me." That so did not happen, Nicole followed Jenn up the stairs and grabbed her arm. I can see how Brady and Billie walking up on the scene and hearing Jenn yelling at Nicole and then seeing Nicole going down the stairs would make it appear she was pushed, especially with that being the first words out of Nic's mouth, but no one really saw what happened. Right now I feel very badly for both of them.

However, I saw Brady, I love Brady LOL.

Bo and Kayla were so sweet with Caroline and hopefully they will find out what is wrong and they do have many new treatments. I actually liked how Caroline explained how frustrating and maddening it was to realize you can't remember, that helps me understand how people with dementia and alzhemiers can be so mean. They are totally confused. Overall except for the baby loss great show and all the actors knocked it out of the ball park. Oh yeah and Cameron looks good in some scrubs.

ChiSox1, I agree Nicole has had that shirt on (at least for us viewers forever) however, that doctor that told her the baby was dead said she needed to come back in the next few days and have it delivered. I thought that was strange but then I thought since men write these things, they probably thought it was okay to take a couple of days to digest you lost your baby before it was removed. Then today she actually went into labor (I guess from the shock). I'm not sure how all that works either but remember men write these s/l's and they have never had a period, been pregnant or delivered a child and I think we all know research is not their forte. Just saying....

lololol @ girlinthewind!!!! You've got that right ... Especially about the research not being their forte. Back in February, a friend of mine lost her baby just a few days before her due due date. It was exactly like Nicole's situation where the doc couldn't find the heartbeat, then the ultrasound showed that the baby had died :-( she decided to be induced that very same day, but I wasn't sure about the options she was given in terms of how long she could wait, so I looked it up online. Here's what I read on the website livestrong.com -
"Although stillbirth can occur during the labor and delivery process, most stillbirths occur before the labor ever begins, according to the March of Dimes. If your baby has suddenly stopped moving and kicking, this is a classic sign of stillbirth. A test called an ultrasound is used to determine if the baby is still living. In most cases, labor begins within two weeks of a stillbirth, says the March of Dimes. It's at your discretion if you want to wait for labor to begin naturally or if you wish for it to be induced."

@25years, who knew? That is interesting, TIIC might actually have done some research, say it ain't so. Prolly one of the women that works in the office knew that. Never having had that experience I didn't know. Have a great weekend everyone. I will talk to you all later.

Sometimes we get this glimpse into just how talented our cast is...Yesterday was that day...
Dan, Jenn, Nicole; all were GREAT yesterday...
See guys this is why we watch!!
ALL our performers are that good..
Why don't the writers give these guys more fodder to work with?
I did not mention the fellow performers cause they were not called upon yesterday to "hit it out of the park" as were the before mentioned performers..
My point is why do the writers waste such talent?? Our show stays on the bottom of the polls yet we have such wasted talent on our canvas...
