* According to Soap Opera Digest, it is rumored that Blake Berris (ex-Nick) may return to the series but this has yet to be confirmed by the show and his reps.
* According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kristian Alfonso inked a new deal with "DOOL." Alfonso said, "I love my Days family, I love my job and I love our fans."
* SOD is reporting that Peter Reckell (Bo) has been letting his fellow cast members know he's leaving the show. Odd, considering in last week's SOD the actor expressed interest in staying on the show and had hopes that he was not one of the few who may get the axe.
* Just a reminder that May 2, Charles Charles Shaughnessy returns as Shane Donovan. He'll be in Salem a few episodes.
* Renee Jones (Lexi) exits Days Of Our Lives. Her last airdate is June 20.
* Christie Clark (Carrie) and Patrick Muldoon (Austin) taped their final scenes in Salem on April 25. Their last onscreen appearances will air in June.
* Brant Daugherty to DOOL. Read what he tweeted about and who he'll be working with.
* The show is casting for "Rodney" who is a 21-28 year old handsome African-American or Hispanic man. He's edgy, and a bad boy with a mysterious past. He is a chameleon and will adapt to any situation. His confidence lures women while intimidates men.
* The role of "Drew" is being cast reports SOD. He should be 30-35, built well, Caucasian. "From his incredible good looks, to his sincerity, integrity and strength. He is the total package. He is smart and caring and has a way about him that puts anyone at ease. But behind his perfect facade may lie a pain that drives him to do anything to forget his past." The show is seeking "strong, experienced actors" for this contract role.
