    IAN MCALLISTER'S HISTORY

    Ian McAllister came to Salem to see Madison James. He is the co-owner of MadWorld and it turns out he's also married to Madison. He learned she was in love with Brady Black and threatened to have Brady sent to prison if she didn't stop seeing him. She tried to stay away but when she couldn't, Ian finally let her go. He started seeing Kate DiMera behind Stefano's back and slept with her only to have Stefano find out and dump Kate. Ian took care of Kate but wouldn't let go of Madison. He drugged Brady many times until Brady wound up back in rehab. Brady and Madison realized Ian was the culprit in getting Brady addicted again. They decided to marry and on her wedding day, there was an explosion. Brady was trying to save Melanie while Madison died in Ian's arms. Ian told Kate that he never loved her. He only loved Madison and was trying to use Kate to gain control of DiMera Enterprises. Kate turned on Ian and during a heated argument, Ian admitted he killed Stefano! Of course he was lying and it was soon revealed that he was holding Stefano captive. He kidnapped EJ along with him and let it be known that EJ really was Stefano's son before he was taken off to jail.

    Wednesday, August 22 2012: Everything I Touch I Ruin.

    At some mystery location, EJ struggles with being tied to a chair. He thinks Ian's lying about him being Stefano's son. Stefano confirms Ian's telling the truth. Ian demands Stefano give him the code or he'll kill his son. EJ finally gets lose from the ropes and attacks Ian. EJ throws him around, knocking him unconscious. "Well done my son," Stefano says. EJ barks, "Never call me that again!" EJ starts yelling about him being responsible for Lexi's death. "I hate you," EJ yells. EJ grabs the coin and yells about it not being worth killing for. EJ calls the police from Ian's phone and asks them to trace the call and arrest Ian for kidnapping. EJ hands over the coin and leaves.

    Bo and Hope bust into the room where Stefano's being held. They're shocked to see him and Ian tied up.

    Tuesday, August 21 2012: King Of The Gays.

    In some mysterious place, Ian throws back a curtain. "Tada!" EJ's mouth drops. A beaten Stefano's tied to a chair wearing a Hannibal Lechter mask. EJ doesn't believe it's really Stefano. Ian confesses they buried Paolo. Stefano comes to and EJ stares. Ian asks if EJ's ever been in love. EJ doesn't know what he's on about. Ian says neither did Stefano. Ian retrieves a knife from a briefcase and tells EJ "the old man has a very high tolerance for pain." Ian holds the knife against EJ's neck in the hopes EJ will tell him what he wants to know. Ian backs off. Stefano struggles with his ropes as Ian asks EJ what he knows about the DiMera coin. Ian says he is the only heir to Yvette, Santo's lover. Her name is engraved on the other side of the coin. EJ scoffs, realizing Ian thinks he's a DiMera. Ian wants the entire DiMera fortune. He removes Stefano's mask and Stefano barks, "He is not a DiMera! He is a bastard." EJ wonders why he's there since he's not family anyway. Ian threatens to harm Theo as he holds the knife to EJ's neck once again. When that doesn't spark anything from Stefano, Ian moves away, and EJ yells that he'll be waiting a long time for Stefano to care about what happens to him. Ian laughs and asks how authentic that note from Alice Horton was. It's not difficult to switch blood types. He informs the men they're father and son. "In spirit and in blood."
