Race preparations underway

Shawn tells Steph and Max that he was going to go for joint custody but now isn't so sure he'll do it. Since it's the last time they'll talk before the race, Max implores Steph to be careful, that it's just a race, and they kiss.

Max tries to stick up for Chelsea, because he thinks they were both wrong for accusing Chelsea for messing with the DNA test documents. Shawn is surprised when E.J. walks in, asking Shawn how he is doing, (regarding Mimi). E.J. saw Bonnie at the diner. She told him the news and he tells them that he came to offer his support in the race today, much to their surprise!

At the garage, Abby takes Mr. Winston and Dr. George Bitar to the garage. They're from the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. She shows off the necklace that Mr. Winston created that will be raffled off. They men lend their support for the race and leave, along with E.J.

At the garage, another mechanic tells the guys that Philip isn't coming today because Belle is in the hospital. Shawn is shocked and upset. He runs off to be with her.

New girl on the block!

Shawn is playing basketball outdoors when he comes across a prostitute, who is interested in 'cheering him up'! Shawn tells her he isn't interested and asks her to leave him alone. The girl is persistent, and sits with him. She tells him she had run away from home after being beaten by her dad. She gives Shawn a medallion that her friend gave to her when she left, but Shawn tells her he can't take that gift. She introduces herself as 'Willow' and tells him that 'Shawn' is her grandfather's name. Shawn ends up telling Willow the entire story about Belle, Mimi, Claire and Philip. She asks him if he's still in love with Belle. He admits his love for Belle, but that it's complicated, even though Belle loves him. He doesn't want to break up their marriage so tells Willow that it doesn't matter. Willow offers good advice to try to work things out with his dad. Shawn gives Willow the number of Maggie, telling her to ask for a job at Chez Rouge. She's very thankful and he tells her she deserves it. She's an angel. With that, she kisses him! She offers him her body free, but he declines, giving her cash to buy something nice for her interview with Chez Rouge. The agree,.. maybe they're each other's angels!

Lies are exposed and there will be consequences!

At the loft, Shawn listens in to the baby monitor, finding out that Mimi knew all along that Claire was his baby, not Philips.

Shawn storms into Belle's loft, telling Mimi and Bonnie that it's not a good idea to leave a baby monitor on when you have secrets to hide. Bonnie tries to cover and Mimi can't lie anymore. Shawn yells. He knows what he has heard, and Mimi yells for her mother to stop it. She tells the truth! She did know that Claire was his. She explains how she found out (listening in to the nurses discuss the DNA matching Claire not Philip) Mimi apologizes, telling him she tried to tell him, but he is too angry and hurt. A sobbing Bonnie interjects, telling him that it's her fault for goading Mimi into all the lies. Shawn ignores her, lashing out at Mimi, bringing up her lies with Rex. Shawn brings Mimi back to their loft where she tries again to apologize. He tells her he made the biggest mistake of his life!! Mimi tells him that her insecurities drove her to this and he tells her that she could have told him, but she admits she couldn't risk losing him to Belle. Mimi accuses Shawn of lying to her when he tells her he is not in love with Belle.

Bonnie listens in at the door as Shawn and Mimi talk. Mimi tells Shawn she has always felt that she had to fight to keep him. She calls herself desperate and pathetic and wishes she would have come clean before they married. Mimi brings up Shawn and Belle kissing in the hospital and tries to get him to realise that he loves Belle. She asks for forgiveness. Shawn understands why she felt threatened by Claire being his, but doesn't understand how she was selfish - she didn't even think of Claire or Philip or him. He refuses to ever forgive her, and tells her their marriage is over and storms out.

Mimi's lies are exposed!

At the loft, Belle continues to have pains. Philip decides to take her to the hospital.

Bo runs over to Shawn's loft, interrupting Mimi and Shawn's intimacy to tell them that Belle is experiencing pains in her abdomen. Shawn rushes out with his dad to be with her, while an exasperated Mimi stays with Claire.

At the hospital, Shawn, Phil, Bo and Hope wait to hear news about Belle. Shawn and Phil get into an argument about who is to blame for her being in the hospital. Bo tries to stop the two, explaining how it isn't getting them anywhere. Phil grabs Shawn, but Security comes around to pry the two apart.

Dr. Ross comes out of the ER to tell them that Belle's blood pressure is down, the baby's heartbeat is slow, and they need to keep her for observation.

Shawn visits Belle and he holds her close. They look at the sonogram together and Shawn feels her abdomen and talks to the baby! They playfully argue about the baby's sex. Shawn tells her that he will try to work on them all staying friends.
