Lies are exposed and there will be consequences!

There may be a physiological problem with the baby - it could be serious. Belle is frightened but Philip reassures her that he will do what he has to do (bring in specialists) to protect her and the baby.

Phil goes into the waiting room to tell everyone what's going on with Belle, while the doctors run tests on her and the baby. He asks Kate to leave, unless she is there to support them. Kate asks him to walk away from Belle and move on with someone else.

Hope visits Belle. Hope tells Belle that she can't help wondering if it is not too late for she and Shawn and Belle turns the tables on Hope, asking the same of her and Bo!

Mimi's lies are exposed!

At the hospital, Shawn, Phil, Bo and Hope wait to hear news about Belle. Shawn and Phil get into an argument about who is to blame for her being in the hospital. Bo tries to stop the two, explaining how it isn't getting them anywhere. Phil grabs Shawn, but Security comes around to pry the two apart.

Dr. Ross comes out of the ER to tell them that Belle's blood pressure is down, the baby's heartbeat is slow, and they need to keep her for observation.

Shawn visits Belle and he holds her close. They look at the sonogram together and Shawn feels her abdomen and talks to the baby! They playfully argue about the baby's sex. Shawn tells her that he will try to work on them all staying friends.

Shawn asks for custody of Claire!

At the loft, Philip and Belle talk to Victor about Philip's anger and how it got him thrown into jail. Philip explains himself, lying about how a few military guys and he got into a fight. When Claire starts to cry, Victor goes to take care of her while Belle asks Philip why he didn't tell his dad the truth. Phil says it's because HE is Claire's father!

Victor comes down with Claire and a knock at the door has someone serving papers from Shawn to take Claire away from them! Belle and Philip explain the truth about Claire's paternity and Victor keeps quiet, even though he has known for some time. Philip asks his dad's help in fighting for Claire.

At the loft, Bo and Hope show up. Philip shows Bo the papers that show Shawn fighting for custody of Claire. When Hope tries to tell him she feels sorry for this, he tells her to feel sorry for Shawn. Hope tells him that there will be a lot of tears before this thing is over. Victor shares how he doesn't like the way that Shawn blindsided him with the papers but he implores Phil not to forget that he loves and respects his family.

Hope carries Claire, noticing that she has Shawn's eyes. She takes Claire upstairs for a nap and Bo tells Belle the bad news regarding Marlena's disappearance. She is upset, and doubles over with pain in her abdomen.

Austin and Carrie let things go too far - Lucas catches them!

At Salem PD, Belle runs into her dad and Roman, telling them that Phil took off with Claire. They're in shock and John tells Belle that Phil will be fine.

Philip runs to the lab, demanding to see the test results for the DNA test for Shawn Brady. Phil asks him to get away from him, as he comes in the door after him. Shawn explains to the lab technician that it's okay for Phil to see the results. The lab technician (Nikita) shows Phil the results but Phil still doesn't believe it! He throws the paper down in anger, but Shawn tries to calm him. He tells him that he understands how upset he is and he has a right to be. The security guards come into the room to take Claire from Philip. They take the baby and cuff Phil, who screams at them to "Give me my baby!"

Phil comes into the PD. Roman asks the charge - disorderly conduct and attacking the Lab Technician- and when Shawn walks into the room with Claire, all eyes are on he, Claire and Belle. Claire goes home with Shawn and Mimi, who lets Belle know that if she needs her, to let her know.

John talks to Belle. He couldn't reach Victor to post bail. Belle cries to her dad that she isn't sure if anything will be okay again. Both Roman and John tell her to be honest with herself about who she wants to be with in her future. She daydreams of her and Shawn picking baby names for their new daughter and is confused.

At Belle's loft, Mimi and Bonnie prepare Claire's meal. Bonnie still wishes she would have changed the DNA tests, but Mimi tells her mom that it's all said and done. If Shawn knew that she knew about the paternity since before they married, he'd divorce her.

Later, Shawn feeds Claire while Mimi and Bonnie laugh at watch. Claire keeps pulling away and isn't hungry. Philip and Belle arrive home and Belle asks him to stay calm. He tells her he will, but Claire is his, no matter who her biological father is!
