* Was originally named Eve Baron.
Eve arrived in Salem as Eve "Baron," who got into prostitution with Nick Corelli’s help. She befriended Kimberly Brady and thinking Kim ruined her father and mother’s (Shane and Gabrielle) marriage, she set out to sabotage Kimberly and Shane's marriage. She eventually got into some trouble with the law after stealing a car and hitting Sarah Horton with it. She finally revealed Shane was her dad. He took her in and she continued causing issues. She crushed on Frankie Brady, even though he was interested in Jennifer Horton. Eve exposed Frankie’s affair with Paula Carson after he and Jennifer reconciled, causing issues between the couple. The plan backfired when Frankie left Salem in 1988. Eve was forced back into prostitution by then by Corelli. She asked a pregnant Kimberly for help which lead to an attack on Kimberly and the loss of her baby. Eve was also assaulted by the Riverfront Knifer, Harper Deveraux. Eve survived the attack, and left with a scar on her cheek. Corelli arranged for Eve to pose on the cover of a teen fashion magazine in order to help regain her self-confidence. Eve was thrilled, especially when the boys at school started to become interested. She didn’t realize that Jake bet his friend how fast he could score with a hooker, but when she found out, she attempted to kill herself by overdosing on sleeping pills. She lived through it and set the boys up and turned them into the police. Jake got back at her by kidnapping her and when Corelli tried to save her, he and Jake’s game of chicken went too far and Corelli’s car went over a cliff and exploded. Eve grieved over his passing and when it was announced that he left her everything in his will, suspicion fell upon her. She ran away and crashed a car. She was rescued and brought to an old deserted mansion by a man named Eddie. Eddie knew the mansion had belonged to Nick Corelli and he was searching for money Nick kept hidden there. When Eve happened to find an old key, Eddie took Eve to the bank where they attempted to open a safe deposit box. Eve managed to drop a note as to where she was being held captive, and thought to be dead Nick helped Shane rescue Eve. Steve, Kayla, and Nick were waiting for Eddie at the mansion, but he managed to elude them once again and the trio was charged with conspiring to hide Harper's money. They were let off later. Eventually Eve learned the man who helped her was Nick Corelli. He wore a mask to hide burns on his face and encouraged Eve to have her scar removed. Eddie was shot dead before Nick and Eve both had surgery to remove their scaring. Eve started singing at Nick’s new nightclub, Wings, and though she loved him, he married April Ramirez.
In 1990 a fierce storm hit Salem and left Faith paralysed. Eve Donovan, who was in love with Faith's boyfriend Scott, plotted to keep them apart. Her plans failed and the duo left Salem together. When Eve learned she must marry in order to claim the money Nick left her, she asked Frankie Brady to do it. He rejected her so she turned to Jack Deveraux. Jack needed the money to save The Spectator and agreed to marry Eve a year later. They married and shortly thereafter, their marriage was annulled. When Eve was wanted as a suspect in Nick's murder, she fled Salem. Frankie went after her and convinced her to return to Salem after she had been exonerated.
Later that year, Brian Scofield investigated Nick Corelli's murder as well. Brian and Melissa, Eve and Frankie, and Jack and Jennifer boarded a theme train where Johnny Corelli had stashed the weapon that was used to kill his brother Nick. When they found the weapon, Johnny Corelli detached the car they were in and it rolled down a mountain pass and derailed into a cold forest. Everyone was trapped in the valley and Eve eventually split away from Frankie and met up with a Molly Brinker. Molly drew Eve a map and Eve led the party to a safe location. A helicopter retrieved them. Eve was seriously injured when she fell from the helicopter ladder but once home, she was treated with respect for helping everyone make it home safely. When Molly showed up, everyone learned it was her map that saved them, not Eve. Eventually, Frankie and Eve went off to Africa to work for a charity organization.
Eve returned summer of 2014 because she heard Jack wrote a book and wanted to cash in. She visited Jennifer Horton and let her know she wanted half of the book proceeds and half the movie rights. She refused to settle for less which caused a slight issue for her daughter Paige who dates JJ Horton, Jennifer's son. She also was to get nodules on her vocal chords removed by Daniel Jonas, who she was interested in, but when her sister Theresa let her know Jennifer Horton had been dating the doctor, Eve fired Daniel as her doctor and went after him, wanting something more.
