Brandon Beemer is joining the cast of "Days of Our Lives" as the new Shawn Douglas Brady. Beemer replaces Jason Cook, who played the role for the past 7 years. He has signed the standard 3-year contract for newcomers, and is contracted with the show through September 2009. Cook last airs Friday, September 22 and Beemer first airs Thursday, September 28. Brandon Richard Beemer was born February 27, 1980 in Eugene, Oregon. He moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and has had regular roles as Lucas on "Undressed" in 2001 and as Seth on "General Hospital" from 2005-2006. He has also appeared in an episode of "CSI" as well as several movies, including "The Brotherhood", "Suits on the Loose" and the recently released "Material Girls." Beemer also appeared on one episode of "Days of Our Lives" as ADA Brett Weitz on February 8, 2006 where he shared two scenes with both Bo (now his dad) and Chelsea (now his sister).

I looked him on on imdb.com, good work as you list a good bio! He (Brandon) looks to have blue eyes which would be ok since Hope's eyes are blue/indigo. He seems a bit older than Jason. I saw Jason as well as many other DOOL actors this time last year as they were rehearsing while I was part on an NBC tour, it was too cool! The guide said they never rehearse while there is a tour, but we sure got lucky!
Their sets are so tiny as was Leno's studio (medium sized), not at all as large as it seems on t.v.
