Shades of David Hayward on AMC..he took a drug that slowed the heartbeat down to almost nothing and then paid off the coroner to help him stay dead. Worked util David wanted to reappear. |

It has to be a coverup for sure - when Chad arrived at the house did he see a covered up body and assume that it was Stefano. I know EJ said he had to officially identify the body but a glance is one thing, did he touch him? I doubt it he seems to be in a state of shock and is walking around in a slow daze for now. |

I do know that I would never say never when it comes to The Phoenix being alive and returning to Salem when everyone least expects it. I like your theory and it’s certainly plausible. I agree about the brothers, where are they? PS I checked the bio section on this site and the only brother given was John so if DOOL had any brains they could introduce more of Stefano’s family. Just because it hasn't been mentioned in a while, I do believe Stefano and John are half-brothers and that their family history has not been dropped. And, I hope it won't be. Otherwise, the hatred Stefano has always felt for John won't make any sense (at least it won't to me). I think it has been dropped and the hatred that Stefano has for John would make sense because he's taken every women he loved Stefano loved Rachel Blake ( Peter & Kristen's mom ) and Father John was helping her escape and Stefano programmed John to be Roman so their for he took Marlena away from him . |

We all have our opinions, insight and ideas about our favorite characters and I enjoy reading and discussing them with you and others. For my part, I don't believe the story has been dropped and think John and Stefano's blood ties will be brought back to light soon. I also think Stefano's hatred for John started long before John helped Rachel. I hope Stefano returns "from the dead" sooner rather than later. I've loved watching him since he arrived in Salem in 1982 and the show just isn't the same without him. I also hope EJ's parentage will be revealed soon. Still say he and Stefano should have had a DNA test; but, guess that would have been too easy. Hope you're doing well and having a nice weekend. |

That would have been to easy , I think when Eileen Davidson returns as Kristen & Susan then light will be shed on who Ej's daddy is or who is Ej because I believe that the real Ej died he first got sick when Susan gave birth to him and then he get's sick again after she and Elvis Junior left Salem . I'm not trying to be rude when I say that they dropped Stefano and John being brothers we all have our opinions but in an issue of SOD a while back Ken stated in an interview that he was pushing the reset button and then we got the reboot and plus in an interview with Drake they asked about that if he returns would they be brothers still or something like that and he said it's going back to what it use to be everyone hating the Dimera's so that's why I think it's been dropped . Stephano often dissappears and reappears without explanation. I believe that the "mamby pamby" Stephano we were watching under the previous writers was not the real Stephano. The real Stephano was mean and evil beyond belief. Almost supernatural and way up on all modern technological devices he could use to torment the Brady's with. LOL |

He faked his death to make room for the real Stephano to return. As for the show's history, Roman Brady and Stephano were arch enemies. If Stephano goes down, it should be Roman who takes him down. John was just a "pawn" that Stephano created to destroy Roman and his family with. He has pretty much succeeded in that. He didn't really destroy the family, but he has pretty much destroyed their "moral fiber." Yes, this is what I was thinking!! So on the same page as what I thought might be happening. Everything you said makes sence to me Stefano use to be so evil. You never felt bad for Stefano and you never had compassion for him either so the imposter theory really works! Great post ita!! |

I love your idea I remember babyish dena's version of Stefano the one who was lady back and not evil but when MarDar took over writing I saw the real Stefano when he took control and turned John and Hope into Gina & Pawn so I wonder if there are two Stefano's the real one was in the coma while he had an impersonator . |
