I chuckled everytime Stefano turned around and there was another one ready to tell him why he is better off dead by their hands. John & Hope's started the jokes even though I felt that Stefano's talk to Hope was the best part of the show. When he told her you do not want to see the disappointment in your child's eyes nor do you think you will be there for her prom, her graduation, her wedding because you shoot me and you will be in prison.

since word on the street is the Phoenix won't really die, i have a feeling that the CIA will be in with Stephano to protect him. He'll have on a bullet proof vest and fake blood making everyone think he's really dead. The CIA will hide him out in a safe house somewhere until it's time for him to return; either from the distance to haunt the Salemites or face to face, depending on if Joe comes back from vacation. Either way, everyone is going to think it was by their hand that Stephano is dead, but in actuality he really won't be dead. JMO. How can you get rid of a all the other potential bad guys on the screen and then get rid of the one real deal bad guy as well, it makes no sense…peace never lasts.

What they should be touching is Stephano to make sure he really is dead. From the video i saw he was shot from a distance at the back of the chair. They always have to leave it open for a return. I think maybe everyone touched the gun to protect whoever really did it or to make it hard to find out who.
