Its so sad that every time I check the message boards there aren't any current threads about Bo and Hope. I know its cuz they haven't had any major scenes or episodes lately but I just miss reading everyone's comments about them. I love when Bo and Hope and John and Marlena are in scenes together. They just seem like such buds. I wish this storyline was a little more interesting that the 4 of them are involved in. They are all after Stefano but....something is just missing. They need to spice this up a little. Well, thats it....Im just missing my BOPE |

I think you hit the nail... the storyline has not been fun for many fans from what I read, so maybe that's why there are less threads. I hardly recognize the foursome anymore and from someone who used to love all four, I'm finding myself tired of them because of the storyline. |

Well, you can thank TPTB. They want to target to the younger crowd, but what they don't get is there is no younger crowd!!! The ones that do watch want Sami/Rafe/EJ crap and quite frankly has cheapened the show. Corday hires subpar writers. Bring back Shari Anderson and we'll get the "daysofold". |

I understand that they are trying to target the younger crowd, but honestly I don't think late teens or early twenty year olds watch soaps. I am 39 and I grew up watching this show with my mom. I believe that is where most of the fans came from. (not to say no young people watch, im just trying to make a point). I mean, I know every character and all the past stories. If someone tunes in they don't really know the history of the show. I just think that "younger" people watch different television these days, more primetime shows. I don't think that the writers should try and target a younger crowd, it is the long time fans that are still watching and like the veteran characters with a few newbies occasionally. I don't know, I guess Im just disappointed with the show these past few years. I am a BOPE fan and the whole Carly thing just really really did bad things for their two characters and did a lot of damage to the show. I loved DAYS back in the 90's. There was some great storylines back then. Sure, Billie was a thorn in our side (for BOPE fans) but we always knew they would "find their way back to each other". Thats what the show used to be about and although Bo and Hope are together they just haven't given them a good enough story to "wow" us. You get small little romance scenes that just don't leave me fulfilled. Plus, I thought the Alice mystery was going to be a lot better and we would of seen more adventure with Bo and Hope, there was such potential there. So....forget this "young" crowd you are trying to find...they're not coming! Write for the fans who have been watching for over 40 years!!!! |

I have only watched for 6 years and I don't see any reason to watch these 4. Happy couples do not make interesting soaps. They could be on the backburner holding their families together. I do NOT want to see John try to swallow Marlena EVER again. Happy couples are backburner or move to Switzerland. |

And how old are you flighty girl? Precisely, the storylines you enjoy cheapen the show. And the writers have done just that. |
