I really hate that she is one of those leaving. Molly was done an injustice because she could have done a lot for her character if the writing was better. If they put Chad with Gabi, I am going to vomit.

I've never really liked Melanie, but yesterday when she was trying to comfort Chad over Stefano's "death" I liked her a lot more. It's very weird!

I have found Melanie while sometimes annoying, to be great with her dad, Carly and Nathan. The Chad thing with maniac Gabi is driving me berserk! Yes, in Melanie's absence, he cannot end up with the patently insane Gabi! Please, please somebody kill her! Maybe her crazy stalker will kidnap her and take her to his ramshackle cabin in the desert never to be seen again! And Chad is going nuts right now, he doesn't even deserve Melanie. His grief is so over the top, I can hardly stand him.... Screaming and blaming and accusing while conniving Gabi looks on. Ugh/ick! I want to slap him so bad....

Chad's grief is part guilt so I give him a pass.

I don't want to loose Melanie and think that they could recast the actress. Wish Molly wasn't leaving but totally understand her wanting to try new things.

I'm sure you're right about giving him a pass. I just got so annoyed! Im a hypocrite! I read my post and it seemed a little personal too. I will try for more objectivity (when my kids are not pushing to the precipice of sanity). So yes, he gets a pass..... He will be so sad when she disappears!

Will Andrew be texting Maggie and Daniel next? Melanie has family members who lover her and probably talk to her daily so she just can't disappear.

Good..... Yes, and perhaps she'll feed him some code phrase that will indicate it is not her......

Not only that but if anyone ever got suspicious and wondered where is she now they could use her phone gps to find her didn't they use that during the time of the last kidnapping to locate Melanie and Chad.
