This particular subject about Sonny & his feelings has been somewhat of a debate on various boards. In my opinion I’ve seen signs of interest from Sonny. There was that time when Sonny gave Will that free coffee card and they were horsing around with keep away, a look came across Sonny’s face that told me he’s interested. Another moment was when Will told Sonny that he finally came out to Marlena that he’s gay and WilSon hugged, another look came across Sonny’s face where he closed his eyes, like he enjoyed being in Will’s arms.[/quote]

I hope you are wrong that Sonny doesn't end up in trouble but for a couple to finally realize they belong together it seems that is something soaps tend to overuse. The coffee house scene with the card that to me was playful and flirty so I agree so I guess we've been clued in but to actually hear the words, it surprised me.

3) I am concerned about Sonny as well, after his comment about seeing him on the show everyday starting in September, if he was to suffer some accident or violent attack, that would give him lots of air time. But it would be agony for us to have to witness it. And talk about drama, WHEW, now that would have us all glued to the set everyday. And ratings is what it's all about. But it would give Will a real wake up call on how he really feels about Sonny. I could be wrong, and their relationship could suffer a shake up when Sonny's friend shows up. And that could be what stirs up Will's feelings for Sonny. And I agree with a previous post that once this super couple is formed, that we begin to see them react to everyday events and the ups and downs of their friends and all the other stuff going on in Salem. Being gay isn't all there is to our lives, it simply is who we are. I think showing this soon to be couple in everyday situations and the coming and going of life with their friends would and couple be a very positive thing for people to see. Plus I just love these guys so much, they are "good people". And did anyone catch that comment from EJ about Will being Sami's boss someday, running the company that she works in. Wouldn't that be full of intrigue and drama..And what would Kate think about that one?

Well I’m hoping that the cause of more Sonny on our screens in the future is due to the fact that this new regime has a better scope in utilizing him than the previous ones did and not because of some disaster. Although it would certainly bring some drama which is what a soap is all about.

I love Will but there have been some moments where he has taken advantage of Sonny’s friendship such as that pretending in front of his mom that Sonny is his boyfriend just to get a rise out of her and also that moment where Rafe overheard about EJ & Sami. There needs to be some kind of pivotal moment to where Will realizes Sonny’s more than a friend and not take him for granted. That episode when WilSon was at the coffee shop & he was about to leave, he turned around in the doorway to look back at Sonny showed some indication that he does have certain feelings for him. Will needs to get at that same level of maturity as Sonny which he has exhibited on occasion such as his refusal to help Gabi with her schemes but he’s not consistent.

Yes Bryan, I caught that comment about Will being Sami’s boss and I would absolutely LOVE it if the writers made this s/l happen. It would be must see TV for me.

Str8 great post! I agree with BP that it was Spot on! Will has shown he can be mature...but he has that lil bit of Sami in him that makes him not always make good choices....

bryan I cant imagine DOOL putting this s/l on the back burner! Chandler just won an EMMMY! That would really be the stupidest thing they could do! Ugh..but I wouldn't put it past them because they have done LOTS of stupid stuff....

Yes I’ve seen those same messages on various boards and I’m not quite at that level of Chicken Little with the sky is falling mentality quite yet. As you say from what I read Branco is some kind of gossip hound so I wouldn’t take what he says too seriously until more legitimate sources confirm this.

What I find extremely odd is that after this headline there was more in depth mentions about Davidson’s & Greg Vaughn news but nothing was more covered about what he meant about gay-less days ahead. I’m going to go under the assumption that perhaps now that Will has finally admitted that he’s gay and said those words out loud to everybody that the word gay isn’t going to be as topical and WilSon is going to be like every other person on the show, at least that’s what I’m hoping anyway. I’m going to wait until the end of this year and see what the writers have in store for us with the increase of Sonny airtime and if I feel that there isn’t any equality with gay romance, I’ll start mailing out some more letters.

As for CM leaving like everything else we need confirmation. If it’s his choice to leave I would understand if he wants to explore other options but I would hate it because I love him so.
