I can honestly say that I have said every word and felt every emotion that he has expressed since this storyline began including questioning if I want a relationship with anyone, wondering why I am different, wishing I was straight, trying to fight my feelings, withdrawing from friends and family, and not being able to talk to anyone about my feelings. While some people criticize the tears Chandler sheds as too much, the tears Will sheds are real for those of us struggling to come out. Not many days have gone by recently when I have not shed tears because the coming out process is extremely emotional. It is really a kind of purgatory. Pretending to be someone you are not is exhausting and will eventually eat you alive. But telling family and friends is no easy task because you don’t want to hurt them or make them wonder what they did wrong. In summary, BRAVO! to Chandler for showing the viewers a real portrayal of what someone goes through when coming out of the closet. I hope he wins the Emmy award - he deserves it. I know you posted this awhile ago but I have been away for quite some time and am just now catching up. I am so proud of you for your honesty and willingness to share something so deep and personal. I must share with you that my story is very much the same as yours, I to am gay and I had a very hard coming out process that was full of fear and tears. There were times when I wanted nothing more than to be str8 and "normal" like my family and friends. But I could not shake these feelings no matter how hard I tried. There were times when I seriously thought of killing myself. It was a long and difficult coming out, just like Will's. I guess that's why I am so drawn to this S/L. So when I hear people bad mouth his tears I just want to shake them and tell them they haven't a clue what kind of pain and gut wrenching fear some gay youth go through when trying to come to terms with their sexuality. Not all of us live in big cities, some of us are from small town america, where homophobia thrives and everybody knows your business. I am now very happy with my life and at peace with who I am, and I know God loves me as a gay man. When I prayed and prayed and prayed for what seemed a lifetime for an answer to why I was gay, he answered me in a very quiet and peaceful way. His answer was that "Love is not a sin". And it was as if the weight of the world was lifted from my shoulders and I just knew deep inside that I was ok. If you have taken the time to read this, I hope that in some small way I have helped you. I know you are where you need to be but our journey never stops. Be well my friend and always remember to live love and laugh.. |

I mentioned in a previous post in this thread about how both CM & JS seemed to be having fun in the scene by fighting smiles where it was revealed that Will shot EJ with Sami in the room. It happened again in Friday’s 5/25 episode where it looked they were trying to suppress the humor.  Thanks for bringing that over. I know Chandler described working with the others before and I did read the interview of Deidre and Chandler. |

I can't wait till this new character played by Brian somebody, I don't know his last name, starts showing up in July sometime.. He is a friend or relative of Sonny's. There are rumours that this could be what brings Will and Sonny together as a couple. And on a more personal note my partner and I are going to be married soon, he proposed just this last weekend, so you can only imagine what has been going through me lately. We have been making the rounds to the families and friends this holiday. And they all are supportive. We are so happy and can't wait for the big day.. And we both love the WilSon s/l and hope that maybe there will be a wedding in store for Will as well..One can only hope... |

^Yes, I’m glad they seemed to have reconciled but I guess we’ll see how long it lasts considering how often Sami waffles between liking & hating her mother. |
